Do you believe that a few thousand years ago, a man really got two (or so) of every single species of land animal and put them all on a boat, and they didn't kill each other or anything?

I'm Catholic, but I don't believe in Noah's Ark or anything like that.

2 of every species of Animal in the Entire World, 1 Male 1 Female - If Noahs ark was real then that Ark would of been the biggest swingers club in history !!

If it was real, Noah must have been a dick. 2 of every animal? And just leave the rest to suffer and drown in the flood?
What a douchebag.

No, it's just another chapter in the nice story of the Bible. Not to be taken literally.

If it was real, Noah must have been a dick. 2 of every animal? And just leave the rest to suffer and drown in the flood? What a douchebag. The ironic thing is that in the bible, he doesn't actually get two every animal. He gets every animal, lined up in rows of two. But no, I don't believe it... It's not even plausible, let alone possible. It's just a fable to explain one of God's covenants.

I'm not a bible-thumper, but I believe every thing happens for a reason, even things we can't predict or explain... they don't need to be explained, we can't control most of them. So yeah, I think in a way, sure.

No because it's too similar to the Epic of Gilgamesh.

No because it's too similar to the Epic of Gilgamesh. There are a ton of stories about floods in that region around that time. I have to agree with ya there. Every culture/religion has their own take on it.

It was never said that he took every single animal and every species and put on the boat. Plus there are many things that have happened that are simply inexplicable but we as a people exept them as truth or just the fact that it happened. I'm not saying that everyone should believe it, I'm just saying thatI belive that God has done, and continues to do things beyond human understanding. Ephesians 3:20 says " Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly __ above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us." That means that the most outragous, inexplicable thing we can think of, he can do more than that.
Not to be a biblethumper and I don' tthink that I am. I just belive that that if you believe something that you should have a source or reason as to why you don't do or don't believe.
