I think I may be onboard for the filmation figures. They look pretty damn incredible. I hate the MattyCollector format but I think I'm willing to commit to the major characters. I know I'm 100% getting He-man, Skeletor and Beast Man. I may sub though because there isn't a name of the 6 I don't like. My only hesitation is not knowing how extensive they're going to get with the line. If it doesn't do well I don't want to have 7-8 figures and an empty feeling. They will dive deep. If you look on the He-man.org site, which Mattel and the 4Horsemen use as a guide, they are already calling for half the character roster from the cartoon. Don't forget, outside of this 2016 Filmation sub, 2014 had a filmation sub that had Plundor, Strong-Arm, Ice Man, Octavia, Pharoh, Horde Troopers, and soneone else thats soipped my mind. So, there are a hand full of Filmation accurate figures currently available to add to a collection now, while you wait for February 2016. Also, the Hover Robots. Edit* The other character was Lizard Man. Aswell as Shokoti. u forgot Batros

I think I might dip the toe back in and buy some of the MOTU 2.0 figures. I remember thinking as a kid how cool it would be for the figures to look like the characters did on the cartoon.
Who knew it would take thirty years, but it would finally happen!

www.he-man.org/news_article.php?id=4715Well it's official, Snake Mountain will shrink "10% to 20%". At least they told the collectors BEFORE we pre-ordered this time. A slight shrinking wouldn't be too bad, but personally I'd lay money the shrinking will be AT LEAST 20% and it will end up looking WAY too small for the figures, just like Grayskull did. I realize it's probably unrealistic to expect to be released with no shrinkage, but it's greedy corporate suits behind decisions to make stuff the absolute bare minimum, leaving the fans disappointed. Making a good profit is never enough, it always must be a huge profit....

The current incarnation of MOTUC is not really accurate at all.
The 2.0 line is going to be spot on from the pictures that have been released thus far.

So none of the current line are really on model? Shame. I will be collecting 2.0 for sure, but i doubt they go as deep this time around.

No, they went about updating the original Mattel figures from the 80's, so the MOTUC figures are closer to the original line and the mini comic appearances than to the actual show.

I think that MOTUC has done a great job of updating the vintage figures to create the ultimate versions of these characters. That said, there are also plenty of MOTUC figures that are cartoon accurate: Granamyr, Fang Man, Orko, King Randor, Queen Marlena, Strongarm, Shadow Weaver, Imp, Loo-Kee, Kowl, Batros, Icer, Scorpia, Octavia, Madame Razz, Plundor, Lizard Man, Shokoti, Hover Robots, Sorceress, Huntara, and most of the Great Rebellion figures are based on their Filmation looks. The great thing about this upcoming Classics 2.0 line is that a lot of main characters are getting a proper Filmation treatment and they look amazing! Best of all, the sub window is currently open for this line...I'll be ordering two sets of these figures soon!

Just got Callix , Evil seed and Horde prime in the mail this week. All are home runs, espically Callix. Evill seed was a let down however.

They charge you for your first month and for the exclusive figure, them refund you the first month. That way you are locked into the sub, and the exclusive is payed for, but, you still pay shipping for the exclusive at time of shipping.

I was going to pick up a castle grayskull in the "back to 85" sale with the castle dropped down to $195 however the shipping for international customers is a whopping $220...sucks being an international collector.

Hey guys I'm pretty new to this line. I've been on the lookout for skeletor and He-Man classics. But as most of you must know they are very hard to find and expensive. So just stumbled on this 2.0 series. I have a few questions
1. Are these re-releases of the figures released 5 years ago?
2. Do I have to have a subscription to get them?
3. If so how much is a sub and how many figures is in the subscription?
4. Would it be worth it to buy some of these 2.0 of ebay? Thanks guys. Sorry if some of this is common knowledge.

Ok... so I just did a little more research. $145 for a subscription. 6 figures with an exclusive every other month. But I was kind of unclear if the only way to get them is through a subscription.
