Anyone else order (or plan on ordering) the MOTU Ultimates from Super7? There's Skeletor, He-Man, Teela, Faker and Ram Man... The first four have additional heads/accessories. I thought the sale started in two more days. I would have likely been out of luck if it were still Matty. I only bought Teela x2.

I got Teela. They're made to order with Super 7. This isn't like Matty. Everyone who orders before the 30th is going to get their figure(s).
I do think theyre a bit over priced for rereleases but she's so expensive secondary that the $47 seems like a deal. Hopefully the price comes down on future releases. I think newer stuff that doesn't have that secondary market demand is going to be a harder sell at that price point.

I'm guessing the Horde Troopers got bumped? If Super 7 are with it at all they will put a Horde trooper out with a variant Col Blast head and watch those bad boys fly out.....

So the order went smoothly, but man $45 was a bit steep. Especially if they don't find a way to give us the rest of the core team.

Does anyone know anything about The Loyal Subjects MOTU blind boxes? I saw a review on them and the guy said they should be in stores now. Couldn't find anything on there Facebook and website. I feel like I saw pics of these over a year ago.

I finally received my last Matty order. It was ordered on 12/19 and shipped from Ca on 12/23. My next tracking update was 1/5, when it left NJ. After that, no tracking for 10 days until it reached CT (about 120 miles away).

Found an original loose Castle Greyskull at a thrift store a few days ago for $3. Missing most of the accessories, but still pretty cool. It was one of my favorite toys ever as a kid.

I just ordered Super 7's first wave of the Club Grayskull Filmation figs: Hordak, Teela, Man-At-Arms and Tri-Klops. Should be at my door some time in October, from what I've read.

I will quite literally sh*t my pants with rage if they don't continue..... Best prepare myself because yesterday Super 7 announced WB has denied them the rights to continue Mattels work. Oh man.....I am fuming. |

It's incredibly frustrating to not get at least the 4 main Cats. WB holding the rights hostage is kind of hilarious. I know Brian speculated it might be because of a reboot with the property but we already saw that with Bandia and it didn't work, even though the new cartoon was good. It seems silly not to continue the line when Super7 is showing they can do what Matty did and keep it going. It's offensive to fans. You can't expect people to keep coming back when you keep doing this kind of stuff.
I guess we'll see how the comics crossover goes. Maybe there will be some kind of announcement at SDCC. It seems like the WB/DC relationship is good enough that Mattel could keep making TC figures if there is a marketing reason to put them out. So if a movie is coming, then maybe we see Mattel get back involved. Who knows. Just irritating when that line had so much potential, and really didn't need to go more than 3 or so waves to get the main players. I really do think the figures are excellent. I think that's what hurts the most, especially if someone else ends up starting them over versus picking up where Matty left off.
