Anyone else super pumped for the MOTU origins? Walmart cant get em soon enough especially scareglow and my boy skeletor Yes, I cant wait. I keep missing Heman and Skeletor on WM. Those who got to order them, they have shipped already. Damn I heard those were only placeholders not even live links yet? |

Origins Skeletor is starting show up at my area Walmarts.
I read the cases are:
Solid case of Skeletor
solid case of He-Man
Asst case non He-Man and Skeletor are one per.

They had them all but Teela at my Wal Mart yesterday. Just one of each. I got He-Man and Skeletor. I'm not a MOC collector, so it doesn't matter, but the Man ar Arms, Beastman and Evilyn figures had packages that were pretty mangled |

I hit four Walmarts yesterday with no luck. My one store was showing Battle Cat, Prince Adam and Skeletor having stock but nothing was out. May try and hit it again today. I’m buying this line for my son, who is he-man crazy. So bring on the smashed cards that scalpers won’t buy.

Everyone in my area shows Skeletor in stock. I went to two Walmarts and found four of him at one of them, so I picked one up. No Cat, Sky Sled, He-Man, or anyone else though.
Booooourns...well, no..half a Booooourns because I really did want Skelly. He's a great figure.

I picked up Prince Adam and the Sky Sled and Battle Cat at Walmart today. I didn’t see any of the single figures.

I got Skeletor in the mail grabbed him on Ebay paid a little more but no wal-mart in my state, and haven't been out of state since the pandemic. Awesome update of the figure I grew up with

Went to 11 walmarts yesterday. 1 had the minis, bought a set for my son. The last one had Battle Cat, got the 2 they had. All other stores had jackshit.

Bought He-Man and the first wave of the Eternia minis today. No Cat, Sky Sled, or any of the other figures though...just He-Man and Skeletor this time.
The Eternia minis have codes on the bottom of the little plastic Grayskull cases:
A He-Man
B Skeletor
C Man-at-Arms
D Trapjaw
E Ram Man
F Jitsu
G Buzz Off
H Slime Pit He-Man

Wife just found complete set, 3 sleds and another He-Man and Skeletor.
Just need to find another set of heroes and villains. Then I can be done with this headache.
Motu and aew at same time stinks.

Ok so I'm mostly a wwe figure collector right now. I saw battle cats out at Walmart today and empty price tag pegs for the figures and I'm intrigued. Can someone give me a cliffs notes version of this line along with eternia minis?
I had all of the original line and even still have them although well played with. I dont follow motu boards or even this page. So I'm curious if I should buy them. Do they have other waves planned? Is this a good buy right now? I'm not sure if these will be something valuable and hard to find or collecting dust on the shelves. Are there chase pieces or variants to look for?
I'm torn on this line because it is a rerelease essentially but I dont want to kick myself for skipping it.

There are at least two move waves of single figures coming. After that, nobody knows, but Mattel should be all in on MOTU unless sales are terrible.
No chases or variants.
Buy them if you want them because you like the aesthetic, or the nostalgia, or because they'll blend in well with the WWE MOTU figures, but long term value? Probably not.
Definitely not a re-release. They've done actual re-releases before. These may look similar to the retro figures, but they have articulation.

After I watched this I watched two videos on YouTube about the motu line and minis line. Interesting stuff. Its hard to pick up another toy line while still being a hardcore wwe collector. Got a hit today. My Walmart had Skeletor for the single figures and then Battle Cat and the Price Adam set. Grabbed a Battle Cat for myself to go with my Classics and then one each of the 3 for my son. That was my most wanted stuff of the group. So I'll grab the rest casually as I see it. They had pegs out for the AEW figures. So I'll swing by there again Friday or over the weekend to see if the other single figures get added when I check for the AEW stuff.

Walmart (of course) had pre-orders up for MotUO Series 2 (Trap Jaw, Scare Glow, Man-E-Faces and Orko) up VERY briefly before they sold out.

So The WWE and Origins figures have interchangable parts right?What parts pop off,just heads and limbs,or like the forearm and torso,do they come off easy too?Haven't messed with parts swaps on these yet,don't want to break anything.
