I saw the MotU figures today at the Spring Valley Target. They looked like the ones at WalMart this past year.

great to see the love for MOTU. I have a big collection of vintage stuff so have n interest in these but I was glad to add the He-Ro, Eldor, Shadow Weaver & She Ra from the last few years from Super 7. Very grateful to them for getting these folks out there(wouldnt have objected to a few more LOL)

Big Bad has tons of new MOTU origins pre-orders.
I put in an order for waves 3, 4 and 6, the deluxe figures, Panthor, and a Scareglow. I’ll cancel them if I slowly find them in-store, but I wanted to have them at least lined up.

I found an unopened box at Target with one each of Mer-Man, She-Ra, Roboto, and Zodac. Is this really wave 4, as listed on Big Bad? I bought them and canceled my preorder. The second Target had four regular He-Man in stock on the pegs and two Sky Sleds. The third Target had nothing. I was hoping to find a BA He-Man.

Found in store at 2 Targets. Roboto, Zodac, 2 BA Skeletors.

I went ahead and preordered the other waves on Big Bad. It takes such a load off knowing I don't have to search Walmart nonstop hoping to find them.
I'll probably end up doing the deluxe figures, too, but I held off for now. Same with Panthor and the vehicles.

Precisely. haha The hunting isn't over completely with this line, unfortunately. Flocked Panthor at Walmart and Keldor-Kronis 2-pack at Target. Yuck because they're both must-haves. |

Managed to grab a Scare Glow off Amazon a few hours ago, arriving Friday. As soon as I get a shipping confirmation, I can cancel my other preorder.

So exactly what I figured was going to happen has happened in my area. I checked a few Targets out and although they all have MOTU stuff out, it's only He-Man, Skeletor, Sky Sled, and Battlecat.  |

Its totally stupid for them to ship He-man and Skeletors out. Im fine with Battlecat and Sky sled in other stores, because those were hard to find for a lot of people. Dont know why they didnt give Target wave 2 because those havent been seen on the shelves at all. And give them a case or 2 of the beastman/teela/maa/evil lyn.
I went to 4 Walmarts the day after xmas. The toy department bare. Except one area. All those Hemans and Skeletors were still there. One walmart had 9 pegs full in the aisle, then the flat end cap had to be over 50 Skeletors. Like who in the hell thinks thats a good idea to ship that many. The ratio of hemans/skeletors is so off the wall.
There's that lovely rumor that Mattel plans on shipping those same damn 2 figures with every wave.
At least we can straight up order for online toy stores. If that wasnt the case, this line would be dead asap.
But good ol' Mattel would blame collectors like they always do.

I've been seeing people posting pictures of wave 3, Panthor, and the Battle Armor deluxe figures being found in their Targets, but I just knew beyond knowing that wouldn't happen in my area. We'd get stuck with the stuff that has already been available at Walmart for months because that's my luck. |

With Masters of the Universe Classics, people complained when they were no longer available, and some think it kept people from jumping in later. But like you say, if stores over-order, that's a different but real problem, too. I'd say it's better to have them evergreen, but stores need to order properly. It's a good idea to have the two big guns there so that if a Ninjor or Scare Glow catches someone's eye, they won't have to pass because they don't want a MOTU collection without He-Man and Skeletor. |

I picked up Panthor and the Sky Sled at Target this week. I might skip the flocked Panthor now because 25 is a bit steep for these I feel like.
Another Target had three Battle Cats, some Sky Sleds, and four He-Mans yesterday.

The WalMart near me put the newer MOTC figures on clearance for $7. They have a ton of Skeletors left, so if anyone is looking for one by chance I'd be glad to grab one for you!

I was able to find the set of Mer-man/She-Ra/Roboto/Zordac and then the deluxe figures at Target. I got doubles of the Battle Armor figures. I’m only buying these for my son, but Battle Armor He-man and Skeletor are super sentimental to me. So I got those two for myself to put on Battle Cat and Panthor. This is a super fun line. I hope it does really well and goes deep into the character well.
