Just posted this in the TMNT thread but I got my Super 7 Leonardo and did a review. I really like this one. I said it in the video, but these turtles get better as you get more of them. Since this video was made, I've seen Bebop, Shredder, and Mutagen Man in person and they're amazing. But with NECA doing their line, and my budget/space being in mind, I'm sticking with just the turtles themselves.

I know some dudes love to focus on the package and box art for a bit, and while I can appreciate that, I find myself skipping that section of any reviews I check out. So I keep it to a minimum for my own videos if I can. And yeah, I know kinda what you mean. Raph was good, but I don't think he's quite as nice as Leo. But like I said in the video, having Leo makes me appreciate Raph more, and I'm sure the same will happen again once Mikey and Don are out. |

Oh geez. Just found out about the Ultimates Turtles line. I'm crying that I didn't know about these earlier, I'd have been so dang into them. Now I'll never catch up.
I'll probably just settle for getting the Blue Stripe April. The very last turtles figure I ever bought, nearly 30 years ago, was a Movie 3 April from the original line. Maybe I can just start an April collection like I always wanted as a kid. Although good luck finding the NECAs or the latter-years Playmates...
Fun story. When I was very young, I had a cousin who was into TMNT as well. She had far better figures than I had, mostly because my aunt "Knew a guy" (You all know how that goes).
She had the very first release, no stripe April. I have fond memories of playing with her, and less fond memories of, 15 years later, asking her what she ever did with it and her saying "Oh, I threw out all my Turtles figures..."

The only other current releases I know of are the four-packs with (some?) redecos. The packaging is like Grayskull, Snake Mountain, etc., and it's a gatefold type thing that opens in the middle. The original releases (of which these are repaints/re-releases) came in 2-packs from MattyCollector with pieces to make a mini Castle Grayskull. They were carded, but I haven't seen or heard of single-carded figures. |

I think there was a pic/video reveal on Instagram where in the comments someone asked the difference and they replied saying there was no difference they were just re-offering them long enough for the ThunderTank preorders for those that missed them could have the for the ThunderTank.

I feel like that thread even had MOTU on the title (I could be wrong), so maybe it's been adjusted and we're full go here. I'll start us off right with an older pic but a great one for me, because I found all these on the rack one day at a Walmart by my work a few months back. A glorious sight, it was.  Unfortunately, I've only added Panthor and the Sky Sled since then, though I've got a bunch of stuff on preorder. It's pretty easy to find Wave 1 Origins now, as even my Walmart has them (and it never has anything). |

Kinda surprised how wave 1 has lingered at Walmart. They got tons of it though. Wave 2 moved better and wave 3 hasn't hit anywhere around me. The new wave 4 at Target is gone same day it goes out but that's cause they only get one case with 1 of each. Panthor doesn't last long either.

Anyone have the Mega Construx flocked Panthor? It's made me want to get the Origins flocked Panthor, though I'm not big on the price cause I seem to remember it was going to cost more. Guess we'll see (or not, since my Walmart is terrible haha).
