Official Mattel/Super7 MotU Thread

I found the Rise of Evil set yesterday at Target which is cool and what was surprising is I didn't get notified that it was in stock even though last weekend my phone kept showing alerts that it was in stock at other Targets, but I didn't get a chance to go out and look for them.

There was two at the store, I picked up one. The art work on the packaging is very cool. I was debating on getting the second one too just to keep one in the package, but decided to let someone else grab this who is probably looking for it too. Pass the mojo on haha.

Still awaiting to find Greyskull in the wild. Looks like they may be trickling in to random Walmarts across the US from what I read on another site.

Anybody else get the new MOTU toy book by Pixel Dan? I got my copy in from Amazon yesterday. It looks fantastic.

Mine was delivered today. I really like the MOTU books.

I have a hard time supporting anything Pixel Dan or Val Staples are involved in. Dan doesn't have the ego that Val does, but it bugs me Dan's revered as some MOTU authority when he doesn't know any more than the rest of us superfans with internet access. And at least the rest of us bought our collections instead of having them handed to us as corporate shills.

And if Dan's book writing is anything like his YouTube script writing, it will sound like a middle-schooler did it. Hopefully he left that to Val.

That said, I really want the book haha The Dark Horse releases have been excellent.

Wal-Mart unexpectedly shipped Castle Grayskull. I say unexpectedly because I heard some people received their preordered Real Ghostbusters ghosts, but so far I have no movement on them.

Mine just shipped today! How was yours shipped? Was it in an actual shipping box? It looks huge.

I finally saw some shelf tags for Grayskull the other day. None in stock but hopefully that means some will be arriving. I can't imagine it already being done, even with the preorder cancelations and no stock online. Stranger things have happened, though. I still haven't decided if I'm buying it, but I'm guessing I won't be able to pass it up if I see it in person because of that box art.
