So it has been six years now. I can't believe it.
Hennig was my favorite wrestler of all-time. I loved his matches against Bret Hart. And whenever I get rid of gum, I still have to do the gum swat.
Share your memories of Curt Hennig here.

I've been recently "re-finding" him... He's unquestionably one of the best of all-time.

My first memory of him is shooting the basketball around. That was such a great segment. Bret vs. Perfect from SS 91 is one of my all-time favorite wrestlers. Such a talent to have, it's a shame he's not around anymore, it really is.

I can't believe its been six years already. Curt Hennig is one of the greatest wrestlers to never hold the WWE Title. If he were still alive, he could have had amazing matches and be a great teacher for the newer generation of wrestlers.

I first saw Hennig when I bought the WrestleMania 10 video and even though he was just being a special guest referee i loved the way the guy carried himself and quickly became obsessed with watching his matches. about a week later it was announced he'd be in the 2002 Royal Rumble and I was thrilled. i still have a few matches of his last WWE run taped and i really wish WWE had done more with him, or had been able to help him out by sending him to rehab. i even remember the day of his death I had just received Survivor Series 1995, which starts off with Perfect making his triumphant return to the WWF to a big pop. Hennig ruled.

In my opinion he's the best wrestler to never of been the WWE champion. As a matter of fact it's an absolute travesty and i'm sure others will agree.

I got to see him live back in 1982 when the WWF came to my high school. He was a jobber at the time & he fought The Magnificent Muraco.
Thats all I got.

His match with the Blue Blazer at WM 5 is underrated. If they had been given more time, it woulda been classic.

Geez, 6 years already?? Where has the time gone?? 2003 was one of the worst years in wrestling for wrestling related deaths. We lost so many that year...Mr. Perfect and Bret Hart are my top 2 favorites of all-time.
It's such a shame that Curt died so young...Such a senseless death...He and MANY others should still be here. He will be greatly missed for a long time to come.
R.I.P. Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig

Wow, time does fly. It seems like only yesterday I was reading about his untimely death. I remember I was so excited to hear about hsi return at the Royal Rumble 2002 and had hoped he would enter into a feud with Kurt Angle because those matches would have been classic! Sadly, WWE did very little with him. I mean is was in a Six-Man Tag Team dark match at WrestleMania X-8! How could WWE have missed a Angle vs. Perfect match?!?! Luckily I was able to see him wrestle live at a house show not too soon after his WWE return. Truly the highlight of the night for me.
This past Christmas I received his WWE dvd tribute and was very impressed with how it turned out. I wish they had given him a few more matches, but oh well. Definitely the best wrestler to never wear the WWE Championship.
R.I.P. Curt

He was the first heel that I liked in wrestling. I still can't believe he's gone.

Mr. Perfect had the total package! He is truly one of my top 5 favorites of all time. He should have got a wwf world title run IMO. His matches with Kerry Von Erich were awesome and some of his best work. The two of them complimented each other well ,especially with Heenan talking about Von Erich being a hick, those were classic moments. Two great stars gone too soon!
