Mike Johnson is reporting that the writing team has already given up on Brutus Magnus and his planned mega push is no more.
According to the arena box office the main event of the 3/14 event at the Cincinnati Gardens will be Booker T vs. Rhino.
- TNA has decided to promote 4 big events per year that will all be on the road. The four will be Genesis, Lockdown, Slammiversary and Bound For Glory. The rest will all be done as b shows and most likely held at Universal Studios to cut down on costs.

I've never been a fan of Aldis in a wrestling capacity, but why bring him in - begin a seemingly huge push only to give up on it after a couple of weeks? What a complete waste.

Well it was nice to know ya Brutus. I liked his mic work and look but his ring work seemed pretty rough. I just don't see the point in cramming vignettes for this guy down our throats for weeks on end and then cutting bait on the guy after two matches. Brutus Magnus=Glacier 2.0 Who needs good effort on PPVs anymore anyway I've been wondering the same thing. The last two PPV's have left a real bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention sixty hard earned dollars missing from my bank account that I would love to have back. Just because the show is run from Orlando doesn't mean it has to suck. Against All Odds was really bad in my opinion. Quite possibly the worst TNA PPV I have ever seen and i've seen pretty much all of them. The whole thing was disjointed and felt like it was being booked on the fly. TNA you had better step it up or this loyal fan will start only buying those "four" big events on PPV.

TNA did the same thing as they always do. They heard and saw that he was on Gladiators and thought he was some huge mega star. And as with all of TNA's big ideas of bring more viewers in, it failed.
I wonder if they even saw any of his wrestling from over here? Because if they did I have no idea why they signed him.

Brutus' british accent didnt help him much IMO. Plus he seems too clean cut for this 'monster' he's being portrayed as.

Of course they are giving up on him. He didn't come in with a name, or have 5+ years in the WWE. Why would TNA care about him?

Or maybe cause anybody with the first name of a popeye character and the last name of a condom wouldnt be taken serious like the other 12,000 big guys who hold down better talent.

The name was his nail in the coffin, tbh... absolutely hideous... be a little more creative next time, TNA. A roman gladiator shouldn't be called Brutus Magnus just like a foreign dictator shouldn't be called Adolf Stalin. It places more emphasis on the archetype and less on the wrestler himself. TNA needs a few lessons in character development. I didn't see the name or the gimmick going far anyway.

That is kinda sad that they aren't gonna try to have their PPVs at other arenas.

He should be given more of a chance - but, unfortunately TNA is operated by retards.. They're giving up on him after only two matches?.. His debut match was decent, but his finisher sucks.. Still, it's not surprising to see another English bloke get the shaft.. They're not using Doug Williams either - and he definitely doesn't suck.. I don't know why English wrestlers even bother trying to make it in the US - they don't get anywhere..
