Axe, you know I am probably your biggest fan. I love the concept and execution of these figures. What great ideas! That Doink/Bourne is really original. I've told you this before but your customs always look professional and continue to impress me. Great job! I look forward to hearing what Bourne thought of them.

Thanks for the comments. I have no idea whether I will give the figures to Borne. I was thinking that I'd include the 4x6 photo to whoever bought the figures. Here is an up-close photo of the figure's face. It actually looks a lot like Borne.

It actually looks a lot like Borne. thanks very much. we were never told by jakks who, if anyone, the doink headsculpt was actually modelled on. but most people seemed to think it most resembled borne. i'm tempted to make an "unmasked" doink figure by painting the face skintone, just for the novelty of it lol.

Thanks Beefpuppet! I have to give Awesome some thought. I have never seen a good Awesome figure made. In my opinion, he looks nothing like Cena or Brutus Beefcake. I'll keep that in mind. If I make him, he will have the "Gladiator" facepaint, "Awesome" across the back of his tights, and a Japanese flag.

Both customs look great as always Axe. Love to see that you do a lot of unusual customs, and i've got to tell you, your customs always look like have been factory made. And if you're going to do a Mike Awesome custom ... i'm waiting to see how it looks ;D

I've only seen a handful of great Mike Awesome figures. Most of them the heads just squeaked by. Honestly, I think a DH Smith head would work great for Awesome with the right modification.
The Doink and Josh customs are fantastic. Can't wait to see what you do next.

New Custom (6/7/10): "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair: The hair, belt strap, robe, and kneepads were all hand sculpted. The US gold plate was hand cut from the WCW "big gold" title. The butterflies and flowers were made using decals, and the figure was completely hand painted (including the skin tone).

Every time you post something new it is like Christmas. That Ric Flair is effin' fantastic. So how do I strike up a deal with the devil to start churning out customs like you? J/k but really keep them coming.

I'm very impressed with the Flair. Well done all the way around. This will fair a close match with Jay.
