From Gerweck.net
Under Christian's bio on WWE.com it states that the Superstar was trained by Bret Hart which is not the case. Christian was trained by Ron Hutchinson when he first got into the industry and later on by Dory Funk Jr. when he was signed by the WWE in the late 90's. This is either a bad screw up or a storyline but either way I find it pretty odd.
---
I checked on Christian's Wikipedia as well and it does have Hart listed as one of his trainers but it didn't used to so I think someone added that just based on this. I sent Dave Meltzer an e-mail and he told me Christian did not ever train under Hart. PWinsider.com is also saying this is not true.

Who's more important in the wrestling world? Ron Hutchinson or Bret Hart? Who's more notable?

Remember wwe.com posted a tribute for a wrestler who had died only to post later that he was still alive? Haha.

They want to make the connection of Christian (being from Canada) was trained by Bret Hart (also being from Canada). This is the only thing that makes sense in my mind...

This guy I was thinking off had something to do with Slaugher in the 80's I think. Probably wrong.

A few people have mentioned that Christian once said in an interview that he and Edge went to Bret Hart's home in 1997 to do some training. Apparently, that is what WWE.com is referring to when they say Christian was "trained by" Bret Hart in his profile. Honestly, that is pretty misleading, since it was only a few sessions with Bret Hart and it was AFTER he was already with WWE (then WWF). As previously mentioned here on the site, Christian got his start with Ron Hutchinson in Toronto and also worked with Dory Funk Jr. and Tom Pritchard when they handled WWE developmental.
That's what PWInsider thinks they're ref. to.

He says that his buddy was training a bunch of guys and asked if he could use Bret's ring he had in his back yard. It turned out that Edge, Christian, and a few other notable wrestlers, who I can't remember at this moment were all in Bret's ring. Pretty small world

They have been advertising Tyson Kidd as being trained in the dungon, probably just someone confused the bios when filling them out
