He is gone according to Mike Johnson. A new contract could not be worked out between the two sides.

TNA has just lost two great X-Divioners. I didn't like what they were doing with him & So Cal Val but he was still a great talent. Hopefully WWE will sign him & Petey Williams

It's to bad Christmas came and went, because I'd leave a big " you" in TNA's stocking for this one. What's next, Roxxi? Or maybe they'll actually cease releasing talent and go on TV with the X-Division title, putting the belt in a trash can and lighting it on fire... I mean, TNA obviously has nothing in mind for the division.

X-division is just an after thought now. Has been for a while. These types of releases only further that.

They couldn't agree on a new contract. What do you want them to do? There was nothing they can do.

More money to manage. They're not firing a single person dude. They're waiting for contracts to expire to not re-sign people. Nash/Booker isn't going anywhere - get use to it.

They should retain their homegrown talent and dispose of the talents WWE will never sign again because the talent has nothing good left to give. Booker = talented, charismatic wrestler who can't connect with the crowd lately and has little much in his matches that set him apart as beign special. Nash is a non-wrestling talent, so why have him under contract when you can just pay him on appearance? Get used to people complaining when TNA does not value the talent they have a chance to get fans to be familiar with and become a fan of. For years TNA has failed to brand their own talent.

I think that this is a good thing for tna.
He was not a good wrestler so they saved some $.
Is anyone actually sad?

Just another example of TNA suckage. And dont argue anything with SG, he'll find a way to defend TNA and yes by saying they couldnt come to terms with a contract is more TNA's fault then Dutt's cause it shows they did not go outta there way to want him. IF he or Petey was asking for ANgle type money then yea, i understand, but i doubt that. Anyway, it could be I'm not giving TNA enuff credit here but seriously when you have kip and BG and nash and stevie on your roster and you dont have some extra cash to sepend on young talent, then yea, it's a problem with management.

Holy ****, this is awesome and all...but is TNA like mentally intellectually- disabled? They release some of their top X-Division guys like Dutt, Rave, and Petey.....two of which have been with TNA since the start.... Are they trying to trash the X-Division in order to make the Knockout Division more superior? ing worst... I'm going to be pissed if Sonjay goes to WWE, I'd rather like to see him start wrestling in ROH or PWG. Because the only places he's really wrestled for majorly are TNA and CZW, both of which currently suck. I think that this is a good thing for tna. He was not a good wrestler so they saved some $. Is anyone actually sad? Are you ing insane? Sonjay Dutt is an amazing wrestler....what the hell is wrong with you? Have you not seen his matches in CZW and MLW before he went to TNA? Jesus Christ..this world has gone to hell.

And to think they could've made Sonjay in that long, drawn out feud with Lethal that had zero payoff. His Guru w/ dirty tactics gimmick was greatness and should've been capitalized on, but TNA is the Stevie Wonder of pro wrestling when it comes to spotting talent so little surprise here.
Hopefully ROH capitalizes on TNA's stupidity and scoops up Petey and Sonjay. I haven't been following that product as much recently but I definitely would if it meant seeing these guys perform in a real match.

I could give a rat's rear end that he is gone.I've always hated his guts, and his gimmicks. He was so boring to hell. Now if they can only get rid of that homo Eric Young next.It seems just when you think that TNA is going to do the right thing and get rid of Eric Young,he gets a bigger push in the making.I blame this all on Dutch Mantell. He loves Eric The Homo. Is Dutch the Pat Patterson of TNA? I think so.Just ask Eric Young.
