Just came back from the TNA Live event in Lincoln, RI
The ring seemed really small for this live events. I been to a UWF-TNA event in NC last year and it was way bigger.
Due to the fact that the venue, Twin Rivers (a casino), are idiots and were only allowing people 18+ then a few days before the event changed to all ages, the place was no where near a sellout.
I bought the cheapest ticket and then saw a 3rd row seat empty so I took it.
Some guy introduces Jeremy Borash. He says the Spike TV cameras are here.
My match orders may be wrong & spelling also may suck
Match 1- Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks vs. Eric Young. A lot of pre match pasing and trash talking w/ the crowd. EY one with that double death valley driver.
Match 2- Kaz vs. Jay Lethal. Not much but Lethal was way over. He won w/ the elbow.
Match 3- Serotoin (Bently & Devine) vs. Naturals vs. LAX. LAX was way over. Hernandez did a border toss to a serotoin guy onto the naturals outside the ring. I forgot who got the pin on who but LAX won.
Match 4- Brother Runt (actually from Lincoln, RI) vs. Lance Hoyt. Dumass JB doing introduction says from Twin River, RI... Brother Runt. Runt shat on him after. Lance Hoyt was owning this match but Spike won w/ the dudley dog.
Match 5- James Storm w/ Jackie vs. Chris Harris. Of course jackie got involved and for the first time of the night the heel won when Harris got distracted by Jackie and Storm superkicked him. Harris got up after and slammed jackie (i didnt see the move as I was heading for the bathroom)
As i'm coming back I hear JB saying that Runt & Lethal will be signing autographs at the merchandise table. Well look here I'm right next to it, I'm second in line (lucky huh). Runt accidently signed Spike on a guys shirt. He goes "Oh yeah i'm not spike anymore".
Intermission is still going on
Havok/Devine, LAX, & Hoyt are on this stage in the back of the arena just sitting. Well they get noticed and Hoyt comes over. He signs everybody's stuff. Then people start chanting LAX. So homicides comes over. He says Ah I dont have a pen, so I hand him my sharpie. He signs everybody's stuff w/ it and takes off
In the mean time Terry Taylor walks on stage and everyone rushes him
intermission over & Match 6- Christopher Daniels vs. Abyss. Abyss hits a black hole slam right away and the match is over in 8 seconds. We got screwed chant is ringing
Match 7- AJ Styles vs. Rhino. Crowd is split. Rhino hits the gore for the win
Match 8- Tag Team title match
Team 3D (who weren't even advertised on twin river's or tna's website) vs. Christian Cage & Tomko. Bubba rips on Cage & Tomko for being gay and the heels play off of it. Funny part Christian is bouncing on the bottom rope wanting a tag and falls right off the apron hard. (No mats because the floor is a rug anyway). Team 3D hit the 3D on Tomko for the win. T3D invite two small kids into the ring.
I went over and got JB's auto. Then I waited outside the exit waiting for guys to come out
In the end I got to meet these guys & get auto's
