and those mini figs that you posted about Ichiban, were posted on here a long time ago when they first came out. wave 3 of that series will come out in April. i'll have the pics once they are released. ..thats good, have you pics of wave 2? |

^ no those figs that you posted are made by a different company and came out much earlier. the figs that Ichiban posted came out last year and slightly larger than the ones you posted with a bit more detail as well.

Received my set of 100% Lucha figures via eBay. First things first. The title belt that you see in the packaging is just a cardboard insert. Only two figures come with an accessory, Gorutta Jones (hockey stick) and McFloyd (kilt). Now, onto the pics. Carded set  Loose set  Dorival Santos   Gorutta Jones   La Masa   McFloyd   Vicente Viloni   Tte. Murphy   Rot Wailer   Musambe Tutu   Comparison Pic - CMLL Figure / 100% Lucha Figure / JAKKS Figure  Pretty nice set. Hopefully, there's a series two. Anyone care to translate their "biographies"? I can read some Spanish. Not Portuguese. |

^ thanks for the pics. the bios are in Spanish. they're not in Portuguese. 100% Lucha is from Argentina, not Brazil. who do you want translated and i can tell you. i can also provide info thats not on he cards on any of those wrestlers as well. 100% Lucha is one of my favorite promotions.

I wish I would have bought an extra McFloyd figure for you.
(Sorry dude, $35 a figure was a little too steep to be nice.)
I was just curious as to what the bios on the cards say.
Do you know if there will be a second series of these figures?

Jla, I found what looks to be a pretty old site (my spanish is terrible) but it seemed potentially outdated and fan made
it had good roster pics, but didnt seem official. could you give me some general info about it? seems like a really fun promotion

Jla, I found what looks to be a pretty old site (my spanish is terrible) but it seemed potentially outdated and fan made it had good roster pics, but didnt seem official. could you give me some general info about it? seems like a really fun promotion i think i know the site you're talking about. he used to be great for results, but then last year he just stopped updating the site. anyway, 100% Lucha started up in 2006. its owned by Ruben Peuchelle. he got Shane McMahon to invest in the promotion in 2007 and since then the promotion has thrived, as they became an actual wrestling promotion as opposed to a comedy promotion. they sell out almost every show, running their main shows, and the majority of their shows, in Buenos Aires. the majority of the wrestlers are from Argentina, but they portray people from other countries (i.e. Jorge Torresi is Peter Lawrence from England and Cara de Mascara from France). alot of the wrestlers also wrestle under multiple gimmicks. Steve Murphy is also Sodrak, Hip Hop Man is Mosca, etc, etc. they run in seasons, and they didnt have a world title for quite some time. they just had seasonal champions with standings that ran how soccer does. at the end of the year show in 2007 they created the King of 100% Title. Vicente Viloni was the first champ. in 2008, Dick Togo was brought in and he beat Viloni for the title, before dropping it back to him a week later. apparently Togo coming in was part of a talent exchange type of thing and La Masa is set to compete in Japan this summer, with DDT as the most likely destination. they have a weekly tv show. i've heard that some people can get it too. the station is Telefe International. i dont have that channel so i dont know for sure that it airs in the US, but some people said they used to get it up here. anything else you want to know, just ask. |

Do you know if there will be a second series of these figures? thanks man. that McFloyd is such an awesome fig. they did good detail on the tats too. his and Vicente Viloni's figs look the best and are actually really good, accurate sculpts. they really dropped the ball with the Steve Murphy fig though. it looks nothing like him. the others are pretty good though. nothing has been announced yet, but i'll definitely post as soon as i hear about it. i hope so, i want a Dimitri Kazov fig and an Ofidius fig. the bios just say what the character likes and what not and what they are about. like Viloni's talks about how he's all about music and Gorutta Jones' talks about how he used to play hockey and Dorival Santos talks about his dance fighting abilities, etc. |
