A press conference will be held tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 PM Pacific to officially reveal that, as expected, Wrestlemania 26 will be held at The University of Phoenix Stadium, which can hold upwards of 70,000.
Representatives of WWE, The Arizona Cardinals, Global Spectrum and Glendale, AZ Mayor Elaine Scruggs will be present at the announcement.
Arizona had been expected for well over a year as the city was actively campaigning for the event in mid 2008.

They need a WM in England. It will be a HUGE money maker for them.

I've always wanted to go to Arizona...maybe I'll have to do 3 WM's in a row.

If they could figure out a compromise with the time difference though somehow it would be cool, but it just doesn't seam realistic.

Wasn't this predicted like last year when there was a pic of Wayne Gretsky with a Wrestlemania 26 shirt that said "destruction in the desert"?

Damn, I haven't finalized my trip to Houston next month and now I have to look forward to traveling to Glendale. I love that stadium and it's a perfect venue for this event. What I love most is the RedZone area of the stadium. It's perfect as the stage and entrance set can be constructed there and, much like the Citrus Bowl last year, it won't block off a single seat of the stadium's bowl. I'm really looking forward to it, even with not having a single idea of what the show is gonna look like.

Yeah, that would make a lot of sense, WWE losing millions of dollars in ratings just so a country could watch a PPV earlier. A country which represents a minor portion of the fanbase which doesn't even pay for some PPVs.

Time zones don't work that way...in order for us to have to stay up till 4 AM, the PPV would have to be at noon.

Only way like you said is to start it very late here.Don't Raw TV shows get aired live over there from UK?

I was hoping Mechanicsburg, PA would get it. There is a great YMCA right down the road from me.

If they taped it at 7pm in UK and aired it as a taped Wrestlemania at 7pm in the US, it would work. But they would never do a Wrestlemania that isn't live.
