Punk will NOT win the MITB again so I feel bad that he couldn't have defended the IC title. I am not surprised that they put him in though because he is a good wrestler and could pull off some nice ladder spots but it seems like Mania is allergic to IC title matches. As for the other semi confirmed match, I really hope that Kozlov loses to HBK next week because Taker/Kozlov can be used for another PPV. HBK/Taker is what WM should be, legend vs legend. How do you know?.. Nobody knows... and we won't know, until after the match.. Please...PLEASE.....Let CM punk get taken out this match. I cant Order this PPV if that bitch is going to be in MITB. I could have sworn Dave Meltzer claimed that Austin would show up to RAW last night -- didn't happen. There was a "report" posted last week that Austin was scheduled for the 3/2 and 3/16 Raws. I actually like the ideas that have been thrown out there for Jericho. Especially the legends gauntlet. They can bill it as Jericho's Hall of Fame Invitational and he can continue to talk trash for weeks, claiming that he'll take on all comers. And at the end of it, Mickey Rourke can give his thumbs up from the front row. Money well spent on his appearance. |

MITB should be 6 superstars this year, not 8. This really shows how lazy creative is. The Intercontinental Championship should be defended. Punk has had a great reign so far, and the feud with Regal leading to him winning it was well done. Why stop now? I miss when Wrestlemania had good singles matches and stuff in the lower card that were developed well. I mean, how hard is it for the IC Title? Either have Punk defend against Kofi Kingston or Rey Mysterio. Mysterio could go back ot the tournament for Contendership, where they had a fantastic match, and Mysterio just has to win a contendership match again or challenge Punk, and Kingston and Punk are best buddies, so Kingston just has to ask Punk for a chance at the title.
I don't mind Money in the Bank, but when WWE uses it like they do just because they can't think of anything, it pisses me off. The United States Title should also be defended, but most likely won't. For Example, I'd rather have Benjamin vs MVP at Mania for the US Title, but I bet both will end up in MITB.
