They've done a good job of getting a lot of people on the card this year. I think it has the potential to be a very entertaining show. I'm really looking forward to the Tag Titles match, as I believe those two teams are going to pull off a classic match. When was the last time we saw a good tag match at Wrestlemania that didn't include tables, ladders, or chairs? I'm hoping that match is the opener and is given fifteen minutes at least. Plus, that just means we'll see the Bellas twice in one night. Barrett <3s him some Bella twins. I'm guessing the Jericho match was WWE's plan D: Plan A: Mickey Rourke decided not to wrestle Plan B: Austin either decided not to, or was in no shape to, wrestle a full match Plan C: Flair agreed to appear, but not taint his retirement with an official match Plan D: Insert random legends here It's an awkward setup for a match, and it seems more like something they'd pull out of their ass for a Cyber Sunday. If the three legends are supposed to tag in and out, it'll probably be slower and more boring than it should be. If the three legends can be in the ring at the same time, Jericho doesn't stand a chance. I'm guessing the "match" itself will be fairly brief, and possibly ending to a no-contest, segueing into a Sports-Entertainmenty segment with Flair leading a parade of legends down to kick Jericho's ass. After everyone's had their shots, Austin comes down, stuns Jericho, and hosts a legendary beer bash. you forgot that Hogan was an option too, but he had back surgery, so it was actually not PLAN D but PLAN E

Another song I thought would work quite well for the show is "Death of Me" by Red. Here are the lyrics for those who haven't heard it... I should have seen all these signs around me But I was comfortable inside these wounds So go ahead and take another piece of me now While we all bow down to you
You tear me down and then you pick me up You take it all but still its not enough You try to tell me you can heal me But I'm still bleeding and you will be the death of me
How can you mend my affliction If you're the sickness and not the cure But too long I have faked this addiction Another sacrifice I made cause I'm pure
You tear me down and then you pick me up You take it all but still its not enough You try to tell me you can heal me But I'm still bleeding and you will be the death of me
You tear me down and then you pick me up You take it all but still its not enough You try to tell me you can heal me But I'm still bleeding and you will be the death of me
I won't forget I cannot forget this I won't forget I'll never forget this I won't forget I cannot forget this I won't forget I'll never forget this
I won't forget I cannot forget this I won't forget I'll never forget this I won't forget I cannot forget this I won't forget I'll never forget this
I cannot prove this solution You aren't the one that I thought you were And so I learned to embrace this illusion I will separate this all to a blur
You tear me down and then you pick me up You take it all but still its not enough You try to tell me you can heal me But I'm still bleeding and you will be the death of me
And you will be the death of me
I won't forget I cannot forget this
And you will be the death of me HOLY . SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS OF THIS AMAZING BAND? *Totally marks out*. Red owns all, if they end up going mega Mainstream and all the trendy bitches start marking out for them because they heard one song of theirs on the radio I will be super pissed. I've been a huge Red fan since their first CD, "The End of Silence". Red is one of the best REAL Nu-Metal bands right now in my opinion. Anyway, back on topic....Sunny has just been confirmed for the 25-Diva Rumble, which is cool I guess. 5 more Diva's to be revealed.

Hardy/Hardy is now Extreme Rules. Now the match will be amazing. A lot of people are saying this could be the opening match, but after how long the build took, it should be deeper in the card, especially now that its extreme rules.

Wow, glad Hardy Vs. Hardy is extreme rules, but to be honest, what gimmick will HHH Vs. Orton be?

Hardy/Hardy has been an awesome feud, best on the road and I'm sure it'll be a great match even moreso that it's extreme rules.

Very glad that Matt vs Jeff is extreme rules.
So that means they can use any weapons right?
I would love to see a tables, ladders, and chairs.
Eventually they need to have a one on one tlc match that would be awesome!
I am also happy that JBL will be defending the IC title against Mysterio.
Finally the IC title gets defended after being looked over since WM X8!
I say let JBL win so he can then retire with a win at Mania.

so i guess the card is set, vince is against the idea of Swagger defending the ECW title at Mania, so now we have 9 matches and that should be it. Here is how i would do the ordering of the matches:
9) WWE Championship Randy Orton vs HHH Note: They will probably add a stipulation to this match like NO DQ similar to Rock/Austin from WM 17
8) Undertaker vs HBK
7) Chris Jericho vs Piper, Snuka, Steamboat Note: I see Austin, Flair and Mickey Rourke all getting involved in this match somehow
6) Extreme Rules Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy
5) 25 Diva Battle Royal
4) World Heavyweight Championship John Cena vs Edge(c) vs Big Show
3) I.C Title Rey vs JBL(c)
2) Money in the Bank Ladder Match
1) Tag Team Titles Unification Match The Miz & John Morrison(c) vs Colons(c)

A little soon, but I'm bored so I'll post how I'd book the event: from start to finish.
Unified Tag Team Championship Miz and Morrison w/ Nikki Bella vs. Carlito and Primo w/ Brie Bella The ideal opener, IMO. Miz and Morrison are two of the best superstars the WWE has to offer right now, and I can't see how Carlito/Primo appearing on both shows defending the belts would be a more desirable outcome to anyone. Match goes for about 15 minutes and features some interference from the Bellas, escalating to an obligatory catfight at some point. winners: Miz and Morrison
Money in the Bank Ladder Match CM Punk vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. Shelton vs. MVP vs. Christian vs. Finlay vs. Kofi Kingston As of now, I'd say Christian and MVP have the best chances of winning this match. Christian just because he returned and has what it takes to be a main eventer; MVP because they're really playing up how far he's come since his losing streak. Personally, I'd like to see either Christian or Kofi walk out with the briefcase. But my "money's" on Christian. winner: Christian
ECW Championship Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne vs. R-Truth In a Battle Royal to determine the Number One Contender, Bourne and R-Truth are the final two competitors and eliminate eachother simultaneously. In the first backstage segment of the night, Swagger walks into Teddy Long's office and demands to know which man will face him. Long states in his usual happy-go-lucky feel-good mood that since it's Wrestlemania, he couldn't tell either man no, so Swagger will defend his title against both men in a triple threat match. And that match will take place...right now! Swagger walks to the ring all pissed off and tries to pull out a quick pinfall, but is stopped by the third man. Bourne comes close to winning after hitting a Shooting Star Press on R-Truth, but Swagger hits his finisher on Bourne (whatever it is - I've only seen the dude wrestle once) and pins Truth. winner: Jack Swagger
Intercontinental Championship JBL vs. Rey Mysterio After three solid matches, we hit our first breather or piss-break match. After about five minutes, JBL pulls off a cheap victory. winner: JBL
Extreme Rules Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy Probably ten-fifteen minutes of the brothers fighting throughout the arena. Jeff pulls a crazy stunt off the stage to pick up the victory. winner: Jeff Hardy
Handicap Match Chris Jericho vs. Piper/Snuka/Steamboat I've already stated that this is an awkward setup for a match. Basically it quickly boils down to a sports entertainment segment to cool down the audience for 'Taker/HBK. Featuring appearances by Austin, Mickey Rourke, and as many legends as WWE can get to show up, everyone gets a turn beating on Jericho. winner: No Contest
Hall of Fame segment Since everyone's already out there, have the '09 class stand at the top of the stage for the obligatory mini-ceremony.
The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels After 20-25 minutes of orgasmic bliss, HBK comes closer to ending the streak than anyone has before, but ultimately Undertaker wins again. winner: The Undertaker
Miss Wrestlemania Battle Royal Five minutes of intros followed by no more than five minutes of in-ring action. Face divas and heel divas stare eachother down, and the Bellas, still bickering over their earlier match, begin the brawling. It doesn't really matter to me who wins, but for the sake of choosing I'll say Trish. If they want to give it to a current diva, Beth seems like the best choice to me. Winner: Trish Stratus
World Heavyweight Championship Edge vs. Big Show vs. John Cena I actually think Cena is the least likely candidate to win this match. The feud's been all Edge/Big Show so far, featuring guest appearances from John Cena. Considering Edge just won the belt, I think he should win, but since he's supposedly injured right now, they could give the win to Big Show. Edge can have some time off, Show can be fully aligned with Vickie, and Edge has a feud ready to go when he returns. Cena doesn't get pinned, so that should he wind up on the same show as the champion after the draft, he has reason to want a one-on-one match. winner: Big Show
WWE Championship Triple H vs. Randy Orton Like others have said, this will most likely be fought under No DQ rules, whether it's hyped that way in advance or not. The outcome of the match is a tough one to call right now. One on hand, this is the type of heated feud that the good guy should win when it comes to the big match. On the other hand, Orton's been better in the past two months than we've ever seen him. I'm expecting some McMahon/Legacy involvement, but hopefully the finish will be fairly clean. And I have no problem with Orton winning the match as long as they don't go the WM16 or 17 route and have Vince help him win. winner: Randy Orton
Throw in the obligatory random crazy jobber backstage segment (perhaps the Punjabi Playboy is hosting his own Wrestlemania party featuring some of his close buds like Kung Fu Naki and Dolph Ziggler), and have either Batista or Kennedy make a cameo during an interview segment at some point (maybe have one appear on camera and have a hype video for the other one) and you've got yourself Wrestlemania. I just realized that I had all heels walk out with titles, but regardless these seem like the best outcomes storyline-wise in my book. If they want a face to win a title, I suppose they could give Mysterio the IC title.

They have a very cool sound and they put on a great live show. (Actually, that is how I discovered them in the first place - they opened on my date of the Breaking Benjamin/Three Days Grace/Seether tour a couple of years ago) - both albums are enjoyable, but Innocence & Instinct definitely breaks some barriers for them, its definitely a far heavier sound. Back on topic as well, I'm quite glad they've totally wrapped up the card with still a little over two weeks to go.

Its becoming pretty obvious now. Cena has no business in the world championship match. How could wwe not think of something for Cena? Maybe he was originally planned to wrestle Hogan or something, because Cena is the last person who wwe would not think of for wrestlemania.

I have a feeling those internet reports about Vince not liking Christian are just a big swerve and if Christian wins MITB, I have a feeling he will cash it in after Big Show/Cena/Edge's match against his "brother" to win the whw championship.

He'll be inducted the day before, so he'll be there. Somebody will get a stunner. I'm pretty sure its going to be Jericho. Those stunner are seriously getting old now, and don't interest me anymore.
