I just went on the TNA site to find this:
Now, October is the month of Bound for Glory V, and TNA will also be touring other countries in Europe in that month:
Now the fact that TNA are in Europe in October, do you really think they would ignore the opportunity to have another sell out tour in the UK?
October would be the perfect time to have that UK PPV that they told us about in January, and whilst there in Europe, and more significally, Ireland, it makes me believe that Bound For Glory V will be held in England.
Your thoughts?

It would be stupid to run THAT many house shows just mere weeks before a major PPV. TNA would lose more than they would make.

They should try to have a Euro PPV. But maybe they can't afford it.

"So", TNA would lose a crap load of money on it. First, having so many venues booked weeks before a PPV, the travel, and losing money in the states because there's no way it'll do good at 6AM so they would have to air it later therefore the results being leaked..

Wouldn't it air at like 6AM here? we're 5 hours ahead so if they started the PPV at 9 or 10PM UK time that would mean 4 or 5PM in the states

Why would you want to basically discourage people from going to your PPV with a house show?

First, having so many venues booked weeks before a PPV, the travel, and losing money in the states because there's no way it'll do good at 6AM so they would have to air it later therefore the results being leaked.. The simple solution is don't read the spoilers. I never read the spoilers when the UFC puts on UK shows. They would more than likely just broadcast the PPV at the normal time in the states. I think this would be a hell of an idea. The UK fans really seem to get hot for TNA and that always makes for better TV/PPV. Besides I think they would make quite a bit of money. Mainly since they don't get across the pond that often and a PPV especially BFG would probably be off the chain. I'm sure the merchandise alone would do pretty damn well. Also what red blooded American TNA die hard is not going to buy BFG? Regardless of where it goes down and what time it airs, BFG is TNA's Wrestlemania. I know I wouldn't miss it and I doubt any other die hard's would either.

It's a good idea.. but not for BFG. Why? They're running not just one show but 7 shows between 9/25-10/2 between Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Ireland. That's 7 shows that would need to make a good chump of change and then do the same thing for Bound For Glory 2-3 weeks later. They'll lose alot of money. I would understand if it was 1-2 house shows but 7? That's way to many before your "major" PPV. It makes no sense to lose that much money so the UK can get a PPV in my opinion. It would be smart to do a PPV in the UK but not in that time frame. I was thinking about them putting the last PPV or the year (or VR or a "smaller" PPV) in the UK.
Also, I wouldn't read spoilers.. I'm just sharing my thoughts. It would be stupid to do that for your "Wrestlemania".

If they do a PPV in the UK it will just air at normal time in America, just not live.
Thats what RAW does over here.

TNA might agree that you guys are deserving of a big PPV but not enough to lose a ton of money.
