This time last year, The Highlanders tag team was stuck in the mid-card. Robbie and Rory didn't feel they were being utilized well, which led to some frustrations from the Scottish wrestlers.
Robbie compounded their problems in WWE by attending a TNA Impact taping in Orlando during WrestleMania 24 weekend. He was shown on camera, then subsequently released from WWE. Robbie says he let his frustrations get the best of him.
"We were going through a rough time with WWE and I don't know if I did it subconsciously, like I wanted to get fired," Robbie (Derek Graham-Couch) told Slam Wrestling. "I don't really know why I did it."
Robbie says he regrets putting himself in that position to be spotted by TNA cameras. He's not sure what he was thinking.
"If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have done it," Robbie said. "I would not have been seen there, I would have not gone there."

Kevin Nash info
TNA wrestler Kevin Nash has been out of the ring for several weeks after suffering a severe staph infection prior to TNA's January PPV. He's hoping to return for the Lockdown PPV in April to face Samoa Joe.
Nash told the Orlando Sentinel he's recovering from the staph infection by doing more talking with the Main Event Mafia, then he'll be ready for the steel cage match against Joe.
Reflecting on his life in wrestling, Nash said he's hung around so many oddball characters that he doesn't know what normal looks like.
"I pinch myself each day for having a good life - a jock's life," Nash told the Orlando Senintel.
"When you've been on the pirate ship for 20 years, it's hard to live with the normal people."
