I read this because I love survivor and wrestling so it is the perfect article. EW.com has learned exclusively that Survivor: Amazon winner Jenna Morasca will now try to survive in the ring in her new career: professional wrestler. The woman who once got naked for chocolate and peanut butter (and later on the cover of Playboy) has joined TNA Wrestling and will make her debut Thursday, March 12, at 9 p.m. on Spike TV's TNA iMPACT. "Everyone is covered in glitter and makeup and stuff and then goes and beats the crap out of each other," says Morasca about what attracted her to wrestling. "This is perfect for me."
Although she won't actually wrestle at first, Morasca will indeed start fighting after taking a crash course in the "sport." Unfortunately, the 28-year-old reality star has declined to take on a sassy new name/identity for the ring. "I'm gonna be me because it's more beneficial to know it's me from Survivor," she explains. "If I had to take a name, it would be a terrible stripper name like Candy Cane Lane." (Naturally.) And what happens if someone puts chocolate and peanut butter in the ring? "Oh, then it's on! Death to all!"I hope she does good. I always liked her and she has isn't that bad looking. She did playboy before!

Great... all we need is a useless Reality Show bimbo with no talent... that's really gonna bring in the big ratings for TNA. What a score! They let Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt slip through their fingers but it doesn't matter because they've got this useless piece of "talent"

I know tna really does devote a lot of $ to the knockouts.
I think it is nice but why would they pay her when she has no training and was on survivor last like 5 seasons ago in Survivor All Stars?

I stopped watching Survivor after the first one. Like it is nice that TNA cares about their women's division. It's a refreshing thing to see however this I fail to see how this can possibly help TNA at all. I've never even heard of her and I hardly know anyone who watches Survivor much anymore much less anyone who will remember someone who won 5 seasons ago... No one will care. And if she isn't going to train BEFORE she debuts then I don't see any need for her at all... they have enough competent knockouts to go around.

Um, she didn't debut at the tapings unless she's in a video not shown.
Honestly, it's a freaking stupid idea. They just need the same crap the WWE does with the Divas and it's bull. Want to sign her? Fine. Send her somewhere to train and then put her on TV - I don't want to see her and it's quite obvious she has ZERO respect for the business which is something I hate. So, honestly - I hope TNA drops her like a bad habit and quick.

She probably burned through her Survivor cash and is now looking for another quick, easy pay-day and it makes me sick to think that TNA is willing to give that to her without any kind of training at all. Assuming of course they have actually given her a contract.

I don't so much have a problem with her being hired as an interviewer, valet, etc - but wrestle? Why?

Like I said, she probably burned through her Survivor earnings and is now looking for a new way to earn a quick buck... it's like when TNA brought in Johnny Fairplay. I was so disgusted at their choice that I stopped following TNA frequently ever since.

Every time I consider starting to watch TNA more often I see some news that just makes me say "Eh..."... It's not just TNA anymore either. MITB for Wrestlemania has me overwhelmingly underwhelmed.

Yeah, I know what you mean. THis isn't gonna make me stop watching nor turn me into a "TNA sucks" guy - it's just like I'm stunned by it and don't understand why they did. Maybe she'll break a nail and quit.

Lol, we both know I haven't really watched TNA since Devine left anyways so I am relatively unaffected... sometimes I think that they just want to test the limits of their fans though. Lol. "They" being TNA AND WWE of course.

i'd prefer a return of johnny fairplay over this. And I would prefer to shoot myself in the foot over both... would probably be less painful.
