Everyone has their first PPV they've watched, but what's your first Wrestlemania you saw? Memories from it?
For me, the first Wrestlemania I watched was Wrestlemania X. This largely explains my distaste for Hulk Hogan, and I began watching just as he was on his way out, and this was the PPV that showed that the WWF could survive without Hulkamania.
I feel like this PPV is such a landmark in wrestling because of that fact; it was the first Hogan-less PPV, and it was incredibly successful, maybe not in a buyrate stand, but in a long-term plan.
It's also, I do believe, the only card in WWF history to feature two legitimate, indisputable five star match...Razor/Michaels, and Hart/Hart. Not to mention it propelled Bret into legit main event status, showed Michaels could be a singles star, labeled Lex Luger as a choker in the main event, etc. So much historical significance in this PPV, I'm thrilled it was my first 'Mania. I cannot recall a single memory of watching it though, haha. I still have my original VHS record, too.

my first Wrestlemania was Wrestlemania V and man it thrilled me to bits........
the whole Mega Powers exploding thing really hooked me.plus I still think Hogan vs Savage is one of the best WM main events.
also loved Demolitin vs POP and Fuji

My first WM was Wrestlemania 15. I can see how alot of people dislike this Mania but it will always be special to me as it was not only the first Mania I watched but it was the first PPV I watched. Other than Rock/Austin, nothing too memorable happened on this show but I still love it.

Wrestlemania 14 was the first one I watched. I didn't see it live, but I received a copy of it a week or two later. I remember watching it at my Grandma's on a Saturday morning with my cousins. I saw 15 the same way. X7 was the first one I got to see live on PPV (at a local sports bar), and the first PPV I'd been able to watch since Royal Rumble '98. So that was a huge, memorable night for me.

Wrestlemania 13.
The first match I remember seeing was Rocky Maivia vs The Sultan for the WWF Intercontineal Championship and ever since then I was hooked.

Wrestlemania 7, not the best of Wrestlemania's but the build up had some great angles:
USA/Iraq war (Hogan/Slaughter) Warrior/Savage career ending feud Jake/Martel blindness feud Virgil splitting from Dibiase which was years in the making
We also got the beginning of "The Streak" Hart Foundation & Demoltion final PPV matches Andre's final WM appearence

I'd seen tapes of 7, 8, 9, and 10 when I was young and I didn't fully understand what it was. When I actually became a fan, WrestleMania 14 was my first.

Unfortunately, my first Wrestlemania was X-Seven. None have been able to compare since.
It's like if you bought the entire Star Wars saga, and then watched The Empire Strikes Back first.

I got into WWF in 2000, but it was after Mania 2000, so my first was X-Seven. But at least I can say, my first was my best.

WM 4
One of my first memories as a child. I was 3 and 1/2. I can only remember tiny things to do with it, but have been reminded about it from grandparents. My younger bro was only or 6 months old, and i remember holding him with help from my gran whilst my eyes popped outta my head at the sight of Warrior snapping Herclues chain.
trippy memories

Well, the first one that I actually knew about and knew was on was Wrestlemania 13 in 1997. It was in 1996 when my brother and I had to go to [at the time] my mom's co-worker's house because we were 11 and 9 at the time and couldn't be at the house alone, and both parents had to work late that night, so the 2 of us went there, and this lady's son was [and still is] heavily into wrestling. He just started explaining stuff to me, who the people were, the champions and whatnot. I began to learn the stories and moves and people that WWE had at the time, and it has snowballed from that day. So WM13 was my WM baptism, so to speak, and it's still going to this day.
If you want the first one I saw on PPV, well the first [and only] was Wrestlemania 15. My step-sister and myself went across the street to my neighbor's house and watched it. My parents were in Atlantic City that weekend, and they had said before we left, if we went to watch it, we had to be in by 9:30 because it was a school night, but the guy that they got to stay at the house to watch us said we could stay. I might be able to convince a friend of mine to order WM25 this year because it's gonna be interesting to see how things play out...so many different ideas being tossed about, some being reported online, some not, so we never really know what will happen until April 5th.

I didnt watch a Live Wrestlemania until like 14...I just never saw the common sense of paying $40 to watch it when I could rent it a month later for $5 The first I ever watched was Wrestlemania 3, and then a few days after WM 7 a friend of mine let me borrow the tape so I saw it fairly recently after the event
