This is based on history so thought it belonged here.
This question is derived from another thread, but its asking the following:
How did you get in to wwf wrestling?
Who got you in to wwf wrestling; family, friends, other?
Mine is simple really. I accidentally tuned in to it, just before WM 4 (i.e, derived from other thread). I never knew about any kind of wrestling before this, in fairness i was 4. I later found out that my great grandfather used to be a doorman at UK wrestling events, he used to walk people to seats and throw out trouble makers, back in the 1902 -10. I never knew this until i was 14 or so. Maybe a case of wrestling has been passed down, skipping 2 generations.
Anyway, what about you?

Well, I used to watch it when I was very young, because my brother had a friend who watched and he kind of got me into it, but for whatever reason it kind of slipped away.. then in 2004 my brother was flipping through the channels and stopped on Raw. We were both hooked. Though, he's grown out of it...

I hate to admit it, but Hulk Hogan's Rock n Wrestling got me into it when I was a kid.

I first saw wrestling in late 1983 (I was 6) when my dad & uncle turned on the TV to watch it. They were showing The Iron Shiek's title win over Bob Backlund, and I remember my uncle being absolutely livid. I figured this stuff was kind of interesting.
Then next thing I saw was in early 1984, after Hogan had beaten Sheik. Once again, my dad & uncle had turned it on, and this time, thanks to Hogan and JYD, I was hooked. From that point on, I was the big wrestling fan in the family... especially since we got our first VCR that year, right when Coliseum Videos started flooding the shelves at rental stores.
LJNs came out that year too, which took everything to a whole new level.

One new years eve ( 2005 i think ) , after all the celebration and etc i was laying in my bed an flipping through the channels. Suddedly i saw a " SmackDown! Superstars " promo which featured a small part with Cena. I thought it was kinda nice to see him rapping as im a hip hop / rap fan so i watched some more and kinda got hooked.
Then everytime the channel aired RAW & SmackDown i would watch , alone or with a friend. Then after that we would discuss the show and play a SD! game

I was channel surfing one night and saw Scott Steiner beating up Perry Saturn(?) on an episode of WCW Thunder back in 1998.

I got into wrestling before I had even saw an episode of WWF TV. I remember back in 1990 all the kids in my school trading WWF stickers, I had no clue about who any of the people were on these stickers. Anyway I remember one day sitting down with one of my friends and he went through who each of the characters were in his pile of stickers, so then not to feel left out, I decided to start collecting the stickers just as kids do. Then one day during family dinner my dad said that we were getting Sky TV, well I was so excited, as soon as the dish went up, my first priority was to find out when the WWF was on. I remember it was a Saturday night was the first time I experienced it and Prime Time Wrestling was on Eurosport, but the bad thing was Saturday Nights Main Event was on Sky One at the same time! I remember being so excited but so mad that I was missing the other. All I did that evening was flick back and forth, I can remember my first match it was Big Bossman vs Mr. Perfect, where Perfect got disqualified purposely to retain the IC belt, this eventually lead into their WM7 match.

My best mate who had Sky used to like it and I started collecting the cards when he did. When we got cable, I started watching it. It was just before SummerSlam 91, that was the first PPV I saw.
