i know tna is doing the heel face commontators but the funny thing is 2 weeks ago on impact did any1 notice don west promo he didnt get cencored at all but jeff booker stiener and angle all got the bleep but don west didnt i just find it funny lol

That doesn't make any sense tbh. I reliaze one is pro-wrestling and one is drama or whatever. But, imo - it's kinda the same thing.  |

I am so torn on Don West. I love the idea of having a heel commentator, but he just does not pull it off well. I guess it gives him a reason to be obnoxious though,

I'm pretty much in agreement with Lance Storm on the Don West thing; "How does him getting mad at Mike Tenay, completely transform his take on every other heel and baby face in the company?"
I love the idea of heel announcers, see JBL, Paul Heyman, Jerry Lawler (pre-2005), but only if they make sense. The idea of "Tenay sold me out, so now I support all the bad guys", which is basically how this comes across, is pretty lame.

I missed iMPACT!, so I didn't get to hear his heel commentary. Did he even explain why he favors heels now? If not, here's an easy way to explain it:
He could say that after hearing about the meeting, he realized that nice guys will stab you in the back. They will be nice to your face, but won't stick up for you when push comes to shove. He now praises the heels for saying what they mean from the get-go, and not making false friends.

Love the Don West heel character. Sure its humor but really now isnt everything with this company now a days? Does anyone really feel WWE is worried about TNA? lol
I think it adds something different. But i love the humor hahaha

Mike Tenay saying for once Don I'll agree with you last week was one of the funniest things ever considering they have been agreeing for six years in the commentary booth. Don West is one of the worst announcers ever. I think it's stupid that all of a sudden he supports the Main Event Mafia and hates Samoa Joe and AJ. It doesn't make sense how a week ago, he was saying Booker T is disrespecting AJ and this week, AJ is a criminal. Samoa Joe is a lunatic and last week Scott Steiner was the lunatic. Like I said way too late for a heel turn and this is going to make even less sense. He probably will say Jeff Jarrett is a selfish prick this week. |
