i swear edge can sell any match, i'd actually like to see edge/bigshow.
and i liked how he made the slight hogan references. you know damn well he knows about the internet hype of hogan making an appearance.

the fact that they were edging on an apparent relationship between edge and vickie is retaaaarded. and cena terribly acted that segment.

LMAO, you all wanted Attitude Era, there it is! This is the kind of craziness that I enjoy in wrestling though.

cena's new movie looks horrifying.
reminds me of black dog (although i enjoyed black dog)
funny how scripted the hhh/orton scene was. how they had a camera waiting for orton to be smashed through the window haha

I know it's scripted, but come on, some people are just looking for things to pick apart.

oh don't get me wrong, i love the phoniness of it all. half the interest i have in wrestling is the absolute humour that is (accidently) created.

The HHH/Orton "house-break-in" segment was like a flashback to the Pillman/Austin "break-in" years ago. I was hoping Jericho was going to win the qualifying match, but nope. And he is still name-dropping Mickey Rourke and his movie. He's basically plugging Rourke's movie on a weekly basis. LOL.
I hope Flair does NOT come out of retirement because that would ruin everything, including his perfect send-off. I think Flair will stay true to his retirement and as much as he wants to wrestle Jericho, he will get a replacement instead.

I hope they continue to let Taker talk in this feud. I enjoyed that little segment.
Looks like the IC title may get defended at WM25 after all. Add Punk to the long list of guys in the past few years who deserved good reigns but got forgettable shitty ones instead. Regal/Punk could've grown more but that was pretty much all the creative team had planned, I guess. I have no idea who they're gonna put JBL against. Maybe Koslov?
I really doubt Flair is coming out of retirement. That's probably just the lead they're going for for the time being. Legends of Wrestlemania Gauntlet match FTW.
Divas battle royal of past and present? Count me in (not literally...). If Sunny wanted to impress management letting a secret like that slip on FACEBOOK probably isn't the brightest idea in the world. So we have her, probably Molly Holly, Ivory perhaps, Victoria almost definitely, Trish perhaps, Lita perhaps, Mae Young, and maybe a few more I'm just forgetting as highly likely candidates. I wouldn't be surprised if half those fans didn't hear the announcement during the tremendous booing.
Edge/Big Show is actually something I'd really like to see now. I just hate that Cena is thrown in the mix of another triple threat world title match. We learned that Cena was behind GTV all along and that Vickie gets around for some hilarious reason. Segment dragged on in the end but hopefully this will end the surprisingly long lasting Edge/Vickie love scenerio.
Last segment was really wild. I thought Orton was going to show up in the arena, or after Triple H no-showed I thought they'd show him tied up and beaten up in Orton's house or something. Instead we get some bizarro take on Pillman's Got a Gun. I didn't like it as much as "secret sledgehammer Triple H" from a few weeks ago but it helped build the feud at least. Just wish these big budget production teams would understand that overproducing something will take away tension and realism. And panning out to the side so Orton would fit perfectly in the shot after he appeared made it too obvious....as if the shaking curtain didn't. But whatever, it was pretty exciting. The "cops" brought more laughs than the seriousness they were going for. Those guys reacted so unconvincingly to almost everything. Triple H really beat the crapout of him.

If Flair wrestles next week I'll be absolutely gutted. There's no need for it what so ever.
That House break in was great.

Not sure how I feel about last night...
Punk/JBL had a really solid match. I was hoping for a longer title reign for Punk, but if this means the Intercontinental Title is going to be defended at Wrestlemania, then I'm all for it.
Taker/HBK segment had tones of emotion again. You can tell how long its really been since Taker has had any substantial promo time involving another individual. His promo on Smackdown was top notch but he was stumbling all over himself last night. It didn't take away too much, though. Very, very excited for this match. I think they're playing it correctly at this point.
Glad to see the diva's battle royal announced. I'm also glad they didn't go with Melina/Maryse at Mania, because truth be told, their match wasn't very good at all.
Edge/Show/Cena contract signing was a joke. I think its ridiculous that the World Championship Match at Wrestlemania revolves entirely around Vickie Guerrero. They couldn't get any more creative than that? Come on. Thats hardly acceptable for a smaller Pay-Per-View, let alone Wrestlemania. Its a total cheap way out. Not to mention, under the contents of that storyline, Cena has absolutely no reason to be in the match. The rivalry is now between Edge and Show. If I am to understand correctly, Vickie agreed to let Cena into the match in return for not revealing what happened last week. Vickie is in charge - Cena broke the deal, any normal person would call the deal off, Cena is out. It doesn't make any sense. Not to mention its quite obvious that WWE just sat down and said "well, can we play off of Raw being in Boston last week? Ok, Cena's in!". It was incredibly apparent that this match wasn't planned out at all. This is just plain horrible booking.
Six Man tag team match was fun, glad to see Christian get some time on Raw, though I sort of understand now why he wasn't brought right into the limelight - he didn't receive much of a pop at all, which is kind of sad. Mysterio has really been stepping up his game lately, I'm not a huge fan of his, but I think its ridiculous that he's not in the Money in the Bank match. I'm hoping they continue this little Kane/Mysterio feud and end up having Rey win Kane's spot from him. Kane serves no purpose in the match at all.
Perhaps I'm the only one who didn't think the Orton/H segment was anything great? I've enjoyed this feud up until this point, but to be honest, I found it to be incredibly cheesy. These types of segments might have worked in the past, when kayfabe was still a present entity, but it carried no truth to it at all this time around. It was a bold step by WWE, I'll give them that, but overall it just didn't work for me.
I'm also not huge on this constant action between Orton and H. The whole point of the "no-touch" rule is to hype the match even more - because they can't lay their hands on each other, you can't help but wonder what they're going to do when they finally can and they're totally ruining that with these attacks. H and Orton are both great with words, I'd rather listen to them talk each other down for the next few weeks then see them keep fighting. That takes all the fun out of the Mania match.
On a side note, I would have been incredibly disappointed had I been there live. No match for any of the major players, and the biggest advertised name doesn't even show up. Not good.

I enjoyed the " Break In " segment , i didnt pay attention to like the camera man being outside and all untill i read on WF about how people found it " fake ". In the end of the day it is entertainment and it entertained me , something that WWE has not been able to do in a while. Sure i do watch every show and ppv but still WWE is missing its... ah it , i dont know what to call it. If they keep up this kind of show im hooked

Don't get me wrong, I like the Vickie storyline. But Kind of weird to see a storyline like this revolve around the world heavyweight championship.
