I would still like to know when this happend, cuz to my knowledge it never did: On the July 12 edition of Nitro, Hogan made his grand return as a full-fledged face and accepted a challenge from Savage, who had gained the world title at Bash at the Beach the night before. Thanks to interference from Nash, who had lost the title to Savage, Hogan defeated Savage to win his sixth and final WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

I have always hated Hogan with a passion, now I hate him more. mostly because he won't lose and refuses to put people over.

Hogan didn't face Flair at Mania because Sid had it in his contract to face Hogan at Mania.
Pretty much EVERY main event wrestler has done their fair share of politicing and they could all have lists like this made about them

Hogan didnt do anything that the rest of the world wouldnt do. If we could bury people (without them losing their jobs) to make sure we make the most money possible, we would all do it. Money is the root of all wealth

Him not letting Orton over was just stupid. I mean fiar enough Taker didn't put Orton over at Wrestlemania, but he put Orton over plenty of times to make up for it.

most of this "FACT" is pure BS. Get your stories straight before printing up garbage becuase you think bashing Hogan is the in thing to do. How in the hell do you or whoever printed up this list could or would know all this stuff between Hogan and Vince. Gimme a break. I'm not going to waste my time picking alot of these stories apart but just so you know it was Syd to demanded in his contract to be in the Main Event at WM 8 not Hogan.

Him not letting Orton over was just stupid. I mean fiar enough Taker didn't put Orton over at Wrestlemania, but he put Orton over plenty of times to make up for it. Til this day, I don't see what the big deal was with Orton doing the job. He won the World title prior to facing Hogan and has won the WWE title several times since, won the tag team championship, won at Wrestlemania last year, won the Royal Rumble this year, and is headlining Wrestlemania again this year. So what if Hogan didn't put him over in one single match, Orton has done pretty well for himself in spite of it and he is still south of 30 years old. Besides, the people didn't pay money to see Orton wrestle against anybody, they paid to see Hogan. Whether you like Hogan or hate him, Hogan is pretty much able to walk into almost any wrestling promotion and call his own shots. On the flip side many of the guys that Hogan has put over didn't really achieve long term success anyways. Hogan put over Warrior, where is the Warrior these days? Hogan put over Lesnar, is Lesnar still in pro wrestling? How about Goldberg? A win over Hogan does not equate into long term success just as a loss to Hogan does not mean instant burial. Look at guys like HBK, Undertaker, Triple H, Flair, and Randy Savage to name a few. They went on to be successful in spite of losing to Hogan, some losing to Hogan more than once.

Hogan still made wrestling what it is today. If people wanna call him mean and cry about it, I'll buy them a tissue, but it's called smart personal business. Maybe not smart business, but smart personal business.

Hogan still made wrestling what it is today. I will never agree with that assumption. To me he made Pro Wrestling popular in the early 90s in the US, period. There are MANY wrestlers worldwide that can be credited for making wrestling what it is today.

Merchadising - Yes. Attendance - NO.
WrestleMania 3 has not been surpassed. Plus you have to take into account changes in ticket prices and number of shows and PPVs. You're comparing the WWF of the 80's with barely 1 PPV to the WWF of the late 90's with a PPV every month.
Stupid comparison and you're clearly a child since you don't understand this. This is like comparing the success of the original Star Wars or Jaws vs Lord of the Rings or Spiderman.

Wow, what a clever comeback! Do you write your own material, kid? The fact that you bother to compare WWF marketing in the 80's to the late 90's is the true testament to your ignorance. Of course Austin sold more! WWF was FAR bigger in the late 90's then in the 80's!
Idiot!

Seriously, are you that intellectually- disabled?! Yeah, let's not look at the fact that Austin had 12 PPV per year to work with while Hogan had 1. Austin had a popular weekly show (later 2 shows) to work with while Hogan had... what?! EXACTLY! Not to mention the amount of mainstream merchandise and even online at that point. Too stupid to even grasp that you're being insulted, eh? If you are indeed in your 30's then I pitty your below average grasp of marketing and basic business. Mistaking your intelect for that of a "kid" is not a compliment. But I guess when your IQ is in the double digits you don't take that as an insult. ![::)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/rolleyes.gif)
