The plans for chris jericho at wrestlemania are being worked on everyday, Vince is keeping everything a big secret what with the recent leaks as of late One of the creative ideas right now is to have Jericho face a number of WWE legends including Piper, Snuka and Steamboat with the match ending with Mickey Rourke assisting the legends and giving Jericho a knockout punch.Another idea at the moment is to have Jericho face one legend with several WWE legends at ringside eventually helping the legend beat y2j

Ugh.
No mater what it's going to hurt Jericho more than they think. Honestly, if he loses to a legend like Snuka who hasn't wrestled in however long itll hurt him. What they SHOULD do is get a legend to hand pick someone from the roster to face Jericho..

I really think Jericho should get the win, whoever he faces, does anyone really want to see Jericho jobbing to someone like Lawler, Snuka or god forbid jim duggan.

If only the Rock was willing to return... you know he'd be willing to put Jericho over, or at least you'd assume he would with Jericho being on his heelish A-game

He might fight Rey Mysterio, I guess he fits the storyline. Still think it will be Hogan... he fits the storyline perfect; old, doesn't know when to give up. Austin gave up, so I don't see how this can be him...

I liked the idea of him facing Lawler, beating him, but then getting slapped by Rourke or something. So, the legends would get the last laugh, but Jericho could still get the win.

Really, at this point, if it's not Hogan or Austin, it'll be considered somewhat of a disappointment. The build up has been so phenomenal that if it's not someone of that magnitude, the storyline won't be worth the payoff.

With Jericho constantly bad-mouthing Mickey Rourke and name-dropping him and his movie week after week, it only makes sense for Rourke to get involved somehow. Mickey Rourke can't just sit there and take it. He's got to do something about it and I'm sure he will. I'd love to see it.

Jericho needs to beat whoever he faces or less it's Austin because we know it really would be his last match ever. Hogan won't happen I don't know why people won't just give it up. I also highly doubt Austin will wrestle as well. I can see it being King which would be pretty disappointing with all the build that went into this thing.

This seems less of an update, more someone using common sence...Part of me is actualy hoping for Jericho to have a Slobber knocker type match, where one by one a legend comes down to the ring, youd start with the likes of Snuka, Piper etc, Jericho making short work of them one by one, until a major legend at the end, it would make sence seeing as the likes of Hogan/Austin etc would only have to work a short length of time, but still get there WM apperence, and maybe Rourke gets involved at the end, thats how id like to see it go down.

Am I the only one who doesn't want Rourke anywhere near wrestlemania??? I wouldn't even consider his name to be one to pull casual viewers over the fence.

Media is obviously all over Wrestlemania.

i feel sorry for jericho for being thrown in this position - if this angle doesn't work out it'll look bad only on him.

I still think Micky Rourke will play a big part in it. like Mr.Old School said.. Every week Jericho name drops Micky and criticizes him and his movie. If Micky didnt want to do the appearance at WM then you'd think WWE would have enough respect to stop bringing him up.
