From Dave Meltzer
- Several TNA talents some of which have been in the company for years now are on the bubble of not having their deals renewed. The only three I can confirm at this point are Jackie, Shark Boy and Kip James but I am told there are at least five who's deals expire in the next 1-2 months.
- James Storm didn't work this past weekends house shows due to shingles in his leg. He will not be working any house shows or TV matches until Lockdown.
- Queen of the Cage which was won last year by Roxxi will most likely return at this year's Lockdown show.
- TNA is currently in the planning stages of a unique DVD featuring shoot interviews with multiple talents. This isn't anything new to insider fans but nothing like this has ever been released by a national promotion.
- Sting has been talling people that he may retire when his contract expires in the fall. He is currently in very bad pain in his back and legs.
- Kurt Angle was on a local radio show in Philly a few days. He was only on for around five minutes. The appearance was done to hype Lockdown but they hardly mentioned it at all. They took two calls. Once person asked if he will ever go back to WWE and he said only if TNA were to close. The second guy asked what his favorite match he ever had was and he said with Joe and Lockdown last year.

I'd bet good money that Angle is bullshitting about his match with Joe being his favourite...

The only three I can confirm at this point are Jackie, Shark Boy and Kip James but I am told there are at least five who's deals expire in the next 1-2 months. Thank god. Now, they're cleaning up the roster without Shark/Kip. I think they should keep Jackie so they can have a vertarn Knockout - James Storm didn't work this past weekends house shows due to shingles in his leg. He will not be working any house shows or TV matches until Lockdown. *shakes head* - does this really need reporting?- Queen of the Cage which was won last year by Roxxi will most likely return at this year's Lockdown show. - I'm excited for it. It'll give us a hopefully new number one contendor- TNA is currently in the planning stages of a unique DVD featuring shoot interviews with multiple talents. This isn't anything new to insider fans but nothing like this has ever been released by a national promotion. - I wanna see Jarrett/Sting tbh.- Sting has been talling people that he may retire when his contract expires in the fall. He is currently in very bad pain in his back and legs. - It's a good thing for TNA. If they promote it for a good solid month or two. They could have a big attendance/buyrate.- Kurt Angle was on a local radio show in Philly a few days. He was only on for around five minutes. The appearance was done to hype Lockdown but they hardly mentioned it at all. They took two calls. Once person asked if he will ever go back to WWE and he said only if TNA were to close. They should keep Jackie, to manage Beer Money, and be the veteran girl..

cool idea about the shoot interview dvd...that could be a cluster or it could turn out to be very interesting. i wonder what it's main focus will be. as for sting, it's obvious to see he doesn't have much left in him. he's old now, he's gotta feel those bumps.

AHH, I'll be really upset when Sting truely retires, it'll be a sad day for the business, I wonder where TNA will go once he's done...

Sting did bring in new fans, along with the Main Event Mafia, since they came about ratings have increased and so have the gathering of new fans, they sure as hell won't have any interest at the hearing of Suicide, I'm a Suicide fan, but come on...

Sting did NOT bring in new fans. If you're trying to tell me he brought new fans in for the 1.3 rating - dude - he's been in TNA for THREE years. If that's your agruement - you need a knew one. The only way Sting will draw is his last match being promoted 1-2 (even 3 months) in advance with a big match against a young guy at Bound For Glory or something.
