Nope. I watched it over and he didn't say that. He said "This is the first time ever that the IWGP Tag Team Titles will be defended on American soil". No big deal...NJPW didn't sanction the title defense anyway. |

I was watching Lockdown again, and I just love how Bubba Ray talks out of his ass about the IWGP tag titles. He said that Lockdown was the first time the IWGP Tag Titles were defended in the U.S., but there have been quite a few times since 1991 where they have been defended in the U.S. If you're talking about in the video package then that is not what he said. He stated: "For the first time ever the IWGP Tag Team Titles will be defended on American Soil against the TNA World Tag Team Titles" |

My point was to say that it sounded as if Bubba was making 2 statements.
1. The "first time" they are defended on American soil.
2. It's against the TNA tag titles.

It didn't sound like that at all.. yes it did. bubba was full of crapthat night. 'biggest match in the history of professional wrestling'... payperview was overall decent, better than their last few most certainly. the foley/sting match was a drag, i don't know how people liked it so damn much and the constant cage matches makes for a lack of dynamics in the overall show |
