besides the wcw title tournament his wcw runs was horrible. him going to wcw should have been avoided if vince really wanted to keep him it wouldn't have, vince wanted to phase bret out for some reason.

I don't see how the "Curtain Call"/Triple H thing was a bad career move. It barely had any effect on Triple H. Honestly MVP and Kendrick have been suffering worst more recently that Triple H during his "heat with the office" period.

If Bret didn't leave a lot of things probably would not have happened when you think about it. Would Owen really have reverted back to the Blue Blazer? Probably not. DX were still brand new when the Harts left. I imagine they would have all feuded up until WM14 in 1998. There was plenty of stuff for them to work with with all the stable wars going on at the time. Would have been interesting to see if Owen would have defected the Harts for the New Nation. Oh yeah, let's not forget Bulldog. He fell through Warrior's trap door in WCW and screwed up his back, which lead to more abuse of drugs that eventually all caught up with him. Bret leaving changed everything. Bret might still have been wrestling this very day in some sort of Ric Flair-ish role. Who knows.

b/c Bret wanted too much money and Vince couldn't pay him the amount WCW was offering....from what I remember? not really. bret never wanted to the leave the WWF at any point. He signed a big contract that a year later vince claimed he could no longer afford, which was a flat out lie. he basically told bret he was no longer needed, and told him to negotiate with WCW.

Triple H and the Curtain Call took a while? He was King of the Ring the following year...and the very fact that he ed up inadvertently kickstarted the Attitude Era.

Putting paint on your face that looks like a penis, dressing like Mad Max, then running around with a machete calling yourself the leader of "The Nation of Violence." Yeah that was brilliant Samoa Joe

honestly? 'the hurricane' shane helms. shane didn't need a gimmick that he still is stuck to this day. they should've developed him as a premier star

jeff hardy failing drug test before wrestlemania 24 Definitely that. He was on such a role leading up to WM, he killed all momentum after he got suspended.
