Kennedy will be big if he can stay injury free for at least 2 years. He gets momentum then gets injured. If he doesn't have to take any time off at all for at least 2 years straight, he can become huge. I would have him come back as a face, then make a big heel turn a few months later and get pushed up the card.

Always thought he was horrible. Nothing has changed.

maybe buildint him back up as a mainevernter on ECW will help him? who knows maybe a few months there winning the title and getting back into the swing of things will help him become relevant again?

I honestly almost forgot about Kennedy before this post. Is he comin back soon or what?
I really felt icky watching when he would come out just to plug his movie. His talking seemed very fake, hesitent and awkward and it just maked him seem like a corporate puppet. Sadly, I don't see him lasting with WWE. I do like him, but between being so injury prone and the character he was when last on TV it would take alot in my opinion to push im back up. Hopefully I'm wrong and he comes back triumphantly though!!

i never really appreciated him, thought he was too self conscious and green almost. though, he wasn't given much time to develop.

I have always enjoyed Kennedy. All they have to do is make him a heel and everything will be good to go, in my opinon. Id like to see the guy stick around, and finally get up there

"Turn him heel" is the generic internet fan response to what should happen to just about every babyface wrestler, be it Cena, Punk, Kennedy, or whomever.
When Kennedy debuted, because he has a good deal of charisma, he stood out from the generic WWE developmental clones (Masters, La Resistance, Morgan etc). He was pretty awesome for a long time, but his character just hasn't developed much at all since his debut. His movie-promoting appearances at MVP's expense were stilted and boring. His goatee looks strange, too. It's a shame, I think he lost his way after the injury robbed him of MITB and then the steroids thing robbed him of the McMahon storyline...
But he would've been a great fit into the US title picture after last year's draft, and it was quite interesting seeing the start of potential feuds with Umaga, MVP and Shelton. If I'm remembering right, Kennedy beat Shelton in a non-title match and Shelton blamed it on the flu. I thought that match did a lot for them both, Kennedy getting a good win and Benjamin getting a bit of a character. But then KK got injured, and I don't see any easy fit for him when he returns.
He still has a lot of potential, but two years ago, I'd have thought he would have reached it by now.

It really is amazing that Kennedy has not really amounted to anything.
-He's got good in-ring ability. -He is a wonderful student of the game. -He is absolutely gold on the mic. -He is hilarious and has a great deal of charisma. -He has a passion about wrestling that few these days do. -He's a wonderfully nice guy outside the ring--treats fans with respect and oftentimes goes out of his way for things like signings/appearances.
All signs point to this guy being huge.
He's...just not.

Kennedy should come back as a heel and attack one of the top guys and win over the fued. That would definately get him into the Main event scene for a while.

Out of sight, out of mind. If they don't bring him back with a character makeover, fans will have found someone else to hate more or love more. If it takes too long he will be just another one of those guys that were on the verge of main eventing only to see it slip away.
I personally thought Kennedy would have it made with a Mcmahon storyline, but I also liked Carlito's character and they made him a tag member in the most useless title years of the belts history, so what do i know.

Everyone thinks turning heel is the solution. Stone Cold or The Rock were never dull as faces. I'm not saying this guy is in the same breath as Stone Cold or The Rock, but he could be a bad ass face. He has the charisma to do it.
