If Sting makes it to Lockdown as the TNA World Champ, he will be the longest reigning TNA World Champ so far
Also if he reaches Lockdown with the title he will break a personal record as it will be Stings longest World Championship reign in his career

I have no doubts that he will make it there.

Does this count the NWA belt as a 'TNA' belt? If so, I'm kinda shocked he's beaten Jarrett.

I'm not trying to be a dick or nothing - but is this what is considored "news" these days? Anyone can go on wikipedia and figure that one out. Wrestling "news sites" are getting more and more usless as days go on. Does this count the NWA belt as a 'TNA' belt? If so, I'm kinda shocked he's beaten Jarrett. They had an agreement with NWA about the belts, they were classed as NWA belts which TNA used, when that ended, TNA made their own belts That wasn't what he asked dude. He was asking if this counted the NWA World Title days - which would be no. Every person who's won the "NWA World Title" from June 2002 until May 2007 is considored by TNA to be a world champion. Therefore - he might be the longest reging TNA Champion since June '07 but he isn't the longest one according to TNA.

You've been acting like when I say something it's directed to you. It's not. I would've felt the same way no matter who posted it. The Traci blog didn't come from a news site - it came from TNA's website. It has nothing to do with what I said at ALL. Jesus.

Well I think that it is newsworthy.
Not everyone goes to wikipedia to look at the title histories so it is good to know.
Having said that I hope he loses his title soon because he should let one of the younger talent have the spotlight because he gains nothing from having the title..

So much for coming to TNA not worried about winning titles but rather to help build stars for the future. That was a joke.
Congrats to Sting though... I guess -_-

I wouldn't have a problem with him being champion if he um.. actualled WORKED. He's been WORKING for 25 years. He moves VERY well for his age and is keeping up flawlessly. Very well deserved.

I guess -_- I'm sure he didn't ask to be champion. True but he could just as easily say "No I would rather you give the title to someone else"... that is how you build stars.
