You know... the things that didn't really change the product, but you just liked, example?
I used to always get a kick out of the crowd chanting 'bunghole' to Vince.
Any little things you loved and miss?

The big red "X" that used to cover the TV screen back in the late 70s when wrestlers would bleed at TV tapings.

Jeff Jarrett calling someone "slapnuts" and his whole "That's J-E-Double-F, J-A-Double-R, E-Double-T!"

I miss opening a WWF Superstars Ice Cream Bar package and seeing which wrestler was depicted on the cookie (and also which wrestler was on the collectible card inside).

The miss the old intro used in 96 and 97 with the block WWF logo ascending in like a red cloudy sky or whatever, it was sweet.
I also miss the original RAW titantron ... and Vince's announcing.

the darkness. i HATE how every little piece these days has to be lit up like a christmas tree. i loved the way RAW looked in 97-99, and even into the early 2000's.

- Miss actually caring if I missed a show. - One roster, less titles - Calling it WWF - McMahon the Announcer - Less PPVS - Feuds that would be hyped for an entire year for one match - Seeing guys you could actually look up to - When faces were faces and heels were heels and it was accepted as such.

sunday night heat before the PPVs Definitely...I remember being able to watch at the Nassau Coliseum before SummerSlam 2002 in a skybox. And D'Lo and Coach (I think) were' right near me...It was so cool!

the darkness. i HATE how every little piece these days has to be lit up like a christmas tree. i loved the way RAW looked in 97-99, and even into the early 2000's. Definately this, I loved how everything was darker because it put a better tone on "dark characters" such as Kane or the Undertaker. When they wrestle today with all the gigantic lights, they look ridiculous. I also loved the fact that there were Hardcore Matches. You'd never find on on WWE today.

The fact that they use to build mid-card wrestlers and give them storylines, so you could at least care about them.
A strong competitive tag team division. I miss the prestige of the Old WWF tag team belts, they meant something once.
Chris Jericho in 2000
Less championships
Hardcore 24/7, the headbangers chasing crash through the amusement park on smackdown was the funniest thing
