i think its daft somtimes that the do video packages for the most un-important matches now, they felt like they ment more when they were shown for the big matches. i think just showing a quick clip of what happend like they did before for the less important matches would be fine.

When you could win unexpectedly, not always by a finisher.

They used to do amazing promos...well some of them. The stuff for like Bret Hart vs Shawn at Survivor Series was just the best ever to me. I can't really remember the last time I saw a video package that hyped up a match to the point that you could feel the hatred that was supposed to be between the men involved. It's been awhile, I know that. I think it has in part to do with the short ass, random feuds. Which is in part do to having ppvs appear to be just a few weeks apart. When you could win unexpectedly, not always by a finisher. YES!

- Miss actually caring if I missed a show. - One roster, less titles - Calling it WWF - McMahon the Announcer - Less PPVS - Feuds that would be hyped for an entire year for one match - Seeing guys you could actually look up to - When faces were faces and heels were heels and it was accepted as such. very, very well said Bingo !!!!

I miss the 80' logo I miss the "F" I miss Surfer Sting. I've never liked Crow Sting. I miss Bobby Heenan. Manager, commentator I don't care. Either, or, both. Give me my Weasel! I miss four ppv's. I miss when SNME's meant something. I miss the time before I knew the backstage stuff. When Hulk Hogan was invincible. When Papa Shango gave me nightmares. I too miss the lower lighting. I miss getting up on the weekends and having a variety of wrestling on. WWF, NWA/WCW, USWA. Gorrila Monsoon and Jesse Ventura
I could go on forever

Sounds stupid, but like when you'd watch RAW in 1997 and the name cards appeared in a flash with no sound and then dissappear with a flash.

i loved when there was the possibility of title changes on weekly shows and they had entertaining matches also, back in the attitude era, the matches and storylines were so unpredictable unlike now when you can pretty much predict the outcome of pay per views

New Generation era Solid tag team division Prestigious IC title When WWE had legit competition Bret Hart giving out sunglasses before each match Bret Hart kissing the belt before defending it Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon on comentary WWF Small arena RAW circa 1993 Original RAW entrance with the large letters ACTUAL brand split without "talent exchange" Having no brands at all When a chair shot meant something Having to wait until PPVs for cage matches Colossium Home Video putting out tapes of house shows and international tour matches Commercials plugging merchandise Doc Hendrix and not Michael Hayes Tony Shavone on commentary the term "wrestler" and "pro wrestling"
And plenty more

I miss when it was refered to as 'wrestling' and not 'sports entertainment'. It seems like if we, as fans, are going to go along and suspend our disbelief about that, the announcers could do the same
