Yeah, I think so. I think every match was good tonight and all segments had and served their purpose.

VR so far: 3D/Brits BMI/MEM Angle/Foley (?) Jenna/Sharmell Not bad, not bad at all. The tag matches could be alright. I have no interest in either of the other two. No interest in AJ vs. Nash. Seems like Sting/Joe could be a possibility which could be alright.

Sharmell vs. Jenna at Victory Road? That's horrendous.

I would be worried for Jenna if Sojo is supposedly Sharmell's mentor. The only thing she could teach Sharmell is how to botch moves and that would not be too good for Jenna.

July 9th, 2009On Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV at 9/8c for two hours of Total Nonstop Action as the road to the July 19 "Victory Road" Pay-Per-View continues. The below is a preview of what will take place on the huge broadcast (card is subject to change): - Will a TNA World Title change hands on Thursday night? All of the TNA World Champions will be in action on the broadcast, including TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, Knockout Women's Champion Angelina Love and TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money! - Main Event Mafia Members Kevin Nash and Matt Morgan will team up to take on Legends Champion "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Daniels - Mike Tenay will conduct a very special and rare interview with TNA X Division Champion Suicide! What will the mysterious superstar say to the wrestling world? - Homicide will battle Doug Williams of the British Invasion in a Ladder Match with the briefcase and a shot at the X Division Championship on the line - Plus, new matches will be announced for the "Victory Road" Pay-Per-View event! All this and much more on Thursday's "iMPACT!" broadcast on SpikeTV! Credit: TNAWrestling.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ah, a nice return after last week's. This week's iMPACT! was a good as it has been, which is good. Next week's looks good too: All the titles on the line ( I guess to kinda "compete" with Night of Champions ), Styles and Daniels teaming up and the return of Homicide! Theres no doubting this week's iMPACT! was just overall better than last weeks. We got 4 solid matches ( and a crappy tag team match ) and the storylines were still told. Much better format this week. - Red/Deaner was actually pretty good and made me actually enjoy Cody, for the first time. Hilarious, having Deaner lose and ODB being upset. This could actually be a good gimmick for him, as long as he keeps losing. - The Knockouts tag match was also pretty good, hid the weakness of Wilde, while keeping a good match going. - Young/Rhino was also pretty decent. Glad they gave Young the cheating win, to further boost his turn. I just hope Rhino fueds with Jesse Neal and destorys him, then he never wrestles again. He's just so annoying and awkward. - Main Event, what can I say... it met all expectations for a main event on a weekly broadcast. Very interesting stuff and a suspenseful ending. Knew Angle wasn't going to be pinned, but I thought Joe would've been. Adding Sting to the mix and taking the title, added more to the excitement. Really enjoyable iMPACT! this week. Promos were cut down and the wrestling was brought up, which was the problem with last week's iMPACT! They stepped it back up and gave the viewers what they want to see... wrestling. Also showcased most of the younger talent, which is always a good thing. I just hope TNA can keep it going and don't have another disaster, like they did last week. Really liking the direction they are heading in, right now. - Triple S

this weeks show was meh for me, I thouhg the first half hour or so was ridiculously layden with talking and commericials. Deaner vs red was pretty good considering it was deaner. This whole thing with AByss goin crazy i think was a bit redundant, i mean we;ve seen him go crazy before, and who was the old guy he was goin face to face with. Stevies segement was good. EY/Rhino...ok but seen it laready. Tag match was good but pretty predictable. Main event woulda been great had it not already been advertised then Jarret play it off like it was a match he just made. Overall the show was ok, but i thought it had way too many backstage segments with MEM, kevin nash, and promos, which surprisingly you thouhgt they had less of Triple S? Hmmm I'll have to disagree with you on that as well, not to start a fight but just merely becasue we dont seem eye to eye on these shows. Now tara is bringin a spyder to the ring. straight way i had bac vision of black reign and misty. Here comes a Spyder on a pole match-lets pray not. Another thing, the mem is seriously reeking of nwo now and if thy sweep the belts at VR i wont be surprised. this show gets a 5/10 for me. I think TNA took a step back from last week. It seems right now we have one major storyline and thats MEM. We'll see where this goes.

Yawnish impact. I only likes to see AJ/Jarrwett team up not ending in disaster.

God this weeks was boring, it felt empty. I was actually looking forward to the Lethal/Murdoch match, do we reallt need to see Abyss go crazy again? The tag match was decent, but predictable, I'm starting to like the Brits lately. And AJ/JarretvsJoe/Angle was again, decent but could of been way better, I always love seeing the pele kick from AJ. The ending was predictable, tbh.

The ending to the match was not predictable. The outcome, yes... but to claim the the ending of the match was predictable, is assinine. Nobody can tell me they knew Jarrett almost getting the tag, but AJ being pulled down and Jarrett eventually passing out was going to happen.
If you meant the ending of iMPACT!, then I could agree. I would've been more shocked, had Sting not shown up. So, if thats what you meant by "the ending"... then yeah, i'd give you that.

I recorded iMPACT! and I actually skipped through everything. I didn't think anything on the show was worth watching at all. The Main Event Mafia are beginning to really bore me now.

ya having a talk segment in the beginning is boring, they are becoming Monday night Raw with it imo, anyway I think Angelina will lose her title b/c she hasn't been scheduled an opponent for Victory Road

I hate alot of the iMPACT Zone fans. They won't STFU during a promo.. Tenay & West can now shut up (for the most part) but nooo I gotta listen to 1 person scream like their in a horror movie.
