put wwe talent coming in over his homegrown talent. its a huge no no in terms of credibility. think about it, would these things have ever happened in ecw while heyman was the owner
mick foley fresh off of being mankind in the wwf jumps back to ecw and in his first match ends mike awesoems winning streak [not saying he one but using awesome as example for joe]
owen hart, jeff jarrett, big bossman, and ken shamrock all jump to ecw create a faction and get put over the ecw talent for months until the homegrown look like complete jobbers
i used attitiude era guys as examples because ecw was alive then and it sound more realistic.
why would they ever in a millon years put angle over joe in angles first match!?
why would they put kevin nash over joe [or anybody for that ]
and i could go on forever,, what tna should have done is just used ex wwe guys for ppv buyrates, fed them to tna talent made their brand look superior.
im not sure if anyone heard this story but it did circulate a awhile back, paul heyman considered bringing the ultimate warrior to ecw, his plan was to have warrior job to.............. taz!
see boys and girls always make homegrown look superior
rant over

Paul would just bring in a homegrown guy for a very brief amount of time, and that would be it.

Bigelow was a great worker. His size obviously limited him, but he did great with what he had. I still remember the great matches he had with Taz and the one with RVD still sticks out in my mind.

Heyman would completely ruin TNA, TNA would become an indy promotion that does shows at a local high school

I'm sure he would learn his lesson from what happened with ECW.

Paul would do wonders as head of creative, just as long as someone else remains in control with the finances.

LMAO at the "Paul would ruin/bankrupt TNA" comments. At this point it would take severe and deliberate product sabotage to turn away TNA's remaining audience... the "man I'm watching a car crash and can't look away" group, the "man dis is so awsum cuz its not WWE" group, and the "man if I were 30 years younger I'd boff that" group. TNA would need a strategy to fail to that extent. Hiring a brilliant mind for the business that would actually BUILD STARS, and not just sign them, isn't one of them.

I believe that Heyman could and would do really great things with the "indy" talent of TNA more so than Russo obviously wants to do with them.

...have anything to do with wrestling anymore, as far as I know.
I wouldn't either, if you've been an integral part of something for 7 years which helped redfine the industry, but on the negative side see everything from talent raids, infighting, subpoenas, creative ideas stolen, network problems, sleeping 2 hours a night and being purportedly really bad with money.
It's a way different beast these days.
