Whilst both are great, Sandman takes in to another level in terms of detail and work gone into the figure.

no offence gate, but yours is not in the same league. I do enjoy your custom, but its not the same level as sandmans. As far as insiders go, god knows.
However, i do know that i was a judge, i dont know either of you, have never spoken to either of you, i have generally been impressed by both of your works, but as far as the muta customs go, yours is good, but sandmans is great, simple as that really.
If your going to start throwing 'insider' claims around, i presume you or your friends are voting for yours in this poll, i simply cant see how anyone could pick yours as the winner based on the 'custom' as a whole. Taking in to consideration that the posters who left comments before me are all in favour of sandmans, and non of your 'voters' have bothered to leave a comment actually speaks volumes. Sorry

Honestly, have you not read what I've been saying or what? I'm not saying that I didn't lose. Sure, i don't think I did, but everyone always thinks theirs is better then the competition's. All I said is that certain members of the WF community who are known friends of different competitors shouldn't be allowed to vote for they may have some bias. The same way I couldn't vote in a match between Gore and someone, for obviously my vote may be swayed by friendship.
I am not as petty as you might think and to assume I would go around asking my friends top vote for me in a meaningless poll would be both childish and stupid. I didn't start the poll, and I could care not for who wins it.
I am not here to start an argument. You think his is better, fine, but don't throw wild accusations at me on a poll I didn't start nor have any desire to be a part of. I was merely raising a point that judges should be impartial. You are, some may not be. In the same way you would want a fair match and ruling in one of your matches I too would like the same.
Again, this is not a complaint, it is only a request for the person who runs said competitions to correct mistakes that have been made in the past. If the shoes were on the other foot I know everyone would feel the same way.
I tried to explain my point of view as clearly and non-confrontational as possible and I would expect that if you reply to express the same.

If you did say the judges were 'insiders' but DIDNT include me in that point, then fair enough. But when i read the opening topic it obviously tells me that i may have been tarned with that brush and it does not settle with me. Thats why i said what i said, and that obviously didnt settle with you. Same thing if you get what im saying. |

I just prowl this board to see your guys' amazing work that some of you do. Both are really good though, lots of effort shown. |

How about option three, whydraft ?? He'd easily get my vote. But since it's only between Gate & Sandy I choose Gate because the super large head & dragon really take away from Sandy's figure. I think Gate would have easily won if he changed the color of the mask a lil.

GCS makes terrific customs and the singlet on his Jeff Jarrett was perfect, but Sandman's Muta is better easily. I mean that in no way as a disrespect to GCS I only wish I had the talent that he does and I hope he is able to work out whatever family issues he is currently having. Good Luck GCS.

Both figures look great but to me it comes down to the mask. There is just more detail to Sandmans.
