Female Japanese star Ayako Hamada announced at a Wednesday morning press conference that the 4/19 Ito Dojo show will be her final match in Japan and she has signed with TNA. Hamade is the daughter of the legendary Gran Hamada from Michinoku Pro Wrestling in Japan. American fans may remember him from his appearances with Michinoku for the original ECW.

That match posted with her and Kong seemingly proved she has ability. Hopefully she'll be able to transcend the language barrier though I highly doubt it.

Why are these foreign wrestlers coming to TNA to be wasted beyond belief, maybe if the company wasn't a joke i would understand like WCW did in the early 90's and actually used the talent how they should be used but TNA is a circus and nobody under 40 Draws or is cared about.

this is great, im sick of waiting for Kong to be able to have a good match, after Kim left, Kong was alone as the only womens wrestler with any talent. Fair enough she dont run arount the ring alot due to her size but she dont need to she serves her purpose very well. She is the Goliath, now we need a new david, and this could be her. She has a good wrestling knowledge and talent. She aint a monster either so could bring a certain sex appeal as TNA need this for viewers. I ing hate the WWE and TNA womens divisions, and have always thought its generally a waste of tv tome purely because the women under current contract cant wrestler for toffee (bar 1 or 2). Japanese trained women are soooooo much better than western fem wrestlers and i cant wait for this. I will actually look forward to watching a womens match again.

I wouldn't say that about all of TNA. TNA has Cheerleader Mellisa, Taylor Wilde, Madison Rayne, Kong, ODB & Angelina Love. They can all be kinda the "main event" Knockouts. Then Velvet, Bolt, Hemme, Daffeny, SoCal Val, Traci can be the undercard. And Khan.. well... she can be released.
