Brutus Magnus is to be getting a big push in the upcoming weeks
There are talks about having a World X Cup tournament this year, but have CMLL host the tournament and have the matches air on impact, to give a different look and culture to the event, TNA and CMLL made an agreement about it last year, but no new updates have come of it.

Good to see TNA is still giving the big pushes to the over hyped, less talented wrestlers.

As long as they air the World X Cup on SpikeTV, then I don't have a problem with CMLL hosting it this year.

seriously, magnus is overrated, his finisher is intellectually- disabled, and cool about CMLL

i loved the first world cup. still watch it from time to time. not a bad idea about the cmll coproduction, it would probably help them out a lot too.

I can see it now... Jeff Jarrett... Sting... Kurt Angle... Mick Foley... and now... Brutus Magnus.
Oh wait, "big push" in TNA means "overutilized in midcard", n/m.

The TNA/CMLL thing sounds great, gives TNA more of a legit Worldwide wrestling company feel, where they take on other promotions.

I always enjoy the X Cup so any news is good news. This sounds like an interesting idea and definitely would change/freshen it up a bit.
As for Magnus, I'm all for him getting a push. I actually like this guy. I think he has good charisma/mic skills and he has a good look too. I also think his finisher is good as long as he does it off of the ropes like he did against Eric Young. That made the move look much more devastating. However I admit he has not been stellar in the ring but that looks like ring rust more than him being a poor wrestler to me. That and he is probably getting used to the six sided ring as well. I know he was doing the UK Gladiators show but was he still wrestling in the UK at the same time? Maybe a UK fan can shed some light on that. If he hadn't been wrestling for a long period of time that would explain why he is so rusty looking in the ring.

The Magnus push makes no sense. He's jobbing and then disappears. Then all of a sudden, they decide to give him a huge push. He should have never been jobbing in the first place if they wanted to do this. How ing stupid.
