It's because the makers of GOW are doing something for the PPV. It makes sense.. but everyone over looks that. We know. That's the point. They're not necessarily looking over that, just that it looks stupid. And no one has explained how it looks stupid - because AJ's dressed from Gears of War? If that's the case atleast it makes sense.

If that's the case atleast it makes sense. but that's the reason, it just looks stupid. No other reason I hated Regal wearing that black shirt while wrestling, except that it looked stupid. Stupid = a reason

It looks stupid because:
A. It makes no sense. I understand that TNA and Epic worked together, but what does this have to do with TNA? Or anything going on in TNA? Or how about even the name SACRIFICE. Honestly, what does AJ Styles dressed as someone from Gears of War have to do wtih anything?
B. The new SACRIFICE logo is not only hard to read, but the preview poster doesn't even have the full logo on there. Granted we got a full view of the poster, but still.
C. The Batarang/SUICIDE logo things not only look bad, but look completely out of place. They don't "add" anything to the poster, and look like a bad attempt to make the background look interesting.
D. "The Phenominal AJ STYLES".....is that really needed? And yes, I do feel the same way about WWE's posters. I enjoyed PPV Posters that had a point and a message to them. No names needed.

If the next PPV was sponsored by Gillette, you'd have a bunch of wrestlers in towels shaving in the bathroom as the main image.

Ugh, gross.
I think some people like the idea, which don't get me wrong if done right could have been cool, but this is terrible. If you compare this to a WWE poster it looks like, as stated before, a high school media class made it. Some may say TNA is different from WWE, but last time I checked which company is raking in the millions of dollars? Not TNA.
This is a prime example of the small things TNA is doing wrong. If they tightened up some of these smaller issues the company as a whole would look more put together and professional.
Maybe one day they'll get it.

This is probably one of the funniest wrestling commercials I have ever seen.

This is probably one of the funniest wrestling commercials I have ever seen. poor aj styles, his legitimacy has been killed (long before that video, but that's the in icing on the cake) i understand the marketing idea - hey, these young males that play gears of war and halo and the like are the general audience that is tuning into our show, so lets try to somehow involve the two together! in theory is it a good idea, sure...but this? this is nothing short of intellectually- disabled.

I don't understand why everyone hates it so much. Atleast the commerical makes sense - I like the idea of it.
