THEY HAVE RUINED ECW the only ecw orginal there is tommy dreamerand he gets no respect and they don't even call ecw wrestlers extremists any more it's ridicoulous this isn't ECW it's crap and i'm sure all of you agree we me

Personally, I don't really care if they ruined ECW or not because I never have and never will like the original ECW, in fact I really hate it. But, I do feel that today's WWECW has no affect on the old ECW, it has nothing to do with the old ECW other than it's name, I don't get why it's even called ECW because it is not even remotely extreme in any way even when WWE was PG-13 it was barely extreme. I feel that they should just rename it, not because it tarnishes the original ECW because I couldn't care any less but only because it has nothing to do with it and all the ECW originals besides Tommy Dreamer are gone and now that WWE is PG and aimed at kids that don't know anything about ECW it just seems completely pointless to call it ECW.

I actually like WWECW better then the over-hyped mess that the original ECW was. AGREED!! I think the original ECW is incredibly overrated in terms of match quality. Impact on wrestling, I will not question...they introduced more intense matches which gave way to street fights and last man standing matches. But most of the matches I watch on WWECW weekly are MUCH better than most of what ECW put out. The original ECW was dead so it couldn't be ruined. One Night Stand 2005 and 2006 were great, but anyone expecting a return to the original ECW was expecting too much anyway, and would ruin the importance of the One Night Stand PPV. |

I like it for what it is now, a show to kind of show off the company's younger talent. I honestly don't even pay the name any mind anymore.

ecw has the best matches every week. as far as i'm concerned, tommy dreamer could leave and i wouldn't care. the show is carried by the young, great talent like morrison (though he's gone now), bourne, christian, and swagger. finlay also puts on great matches.

I agree with this notion: current WWECW > ECW. Tommy Dreamer needs to go, applies drag to an exciting show. The young guys are really good.

If you allow yourself to separate the original ECW from the current entity, you can appreciate the current for what its worth.
The show shouldn't be called ECW, but oh well. I've gotten over that and the fact remains, its continuously the best straight up wrestling show each and every week.
