Is It Easier To Animate On The Floor >?

I have done all my animations (my show CCW) on the ground. When my new arena debuts in Episode 3 it will all be done on a table. I believe the table has its pluses and minuses. Filming on a table makes it a lot easier on the back. When I film for like an hour on the floor my back starts to hurt from leaning over so much to adjust the guys. However, on a table you have a limited amount of room, unless you put multiple tables together then you have more. With the floor you have more room to work with, but it depends.....
My biggest issue with working on the floor is my back. Otherwise I do just fine.

I animate on the floor, I have gotten so used to it, And I dont even have anywhere to animate on a table. lol
I agree with what mbg said, it hurts my back after a while

i aniamate on the floor i really want to animate on the floor because of my back hurts after 1 or 2 hours of animateing also i play alot of aussie rules football which is a phisical sport so when ever i get tackledmy knees hit and scrape the ground "OUCH!!!" so my knees are really cut and bruised so i cant sit on my knees so it is hard to animate on the floor but i still do but i would love to animate on the table.

i animate on the floor, and my back and legs do start to hurt after a while, sometimes i sit on the floor and animate for like an hour or more without stoping and when i get up i can hardly feel my legs lol, i just get up and walk about for a bit, now and again, just for a break

How could you Not find the Discussion thread ?
It's at the top of the Page the one that says: ''Animators Discussion, Questions + Challenges'' - It's also stickied with a Big red bookmark so it never goes anywhere...
