Just to get an idea of what the wrestling scene is like in Canada. It's hard to gage because indy websites are often left for dead it seems.
Anyway, here in Regina we have High Impact Wrestling which has recently merged with Monster Pro Wrestling out of Edmonton.

Well I live in the GTA, so theres a crapLOAD of promotions new (1-offs) old ones, just alot of different styles

I am co-owner of what I feel is the best promotion in Canada, Border City Wrestling. We run mostly in Windsor, but lately have been taking our shows on the road. (Woodstock, Niagara Falls). We have shows in May in Chatham, Cornwall and Tecumseh

In Winnipeg we have Premier Championship Wrestling the home of JAPW Champ Kenny Omega and Roh star and WWE Developmental star Jon Cutler!
There's also Action Wrestling Experience, Ring Masters Entertainment, Canadian Wrestling Elite and Canadian Wrestling Federation!
Just 20 minutes down the road in Selkirk there's Steel Town Wrestling!

Local Stuff.
Random Local wrestlers. Lanny Poffo just did a show here. He's 54, and did a moonsault.
Next month a thing downtown will have Al Snow, One of the bushwackers, and The HonkeyTonk Man.

I kinda hate being stuck in the GTA.
We Get the Occasional good Card like EWA, and TWE the other night, and whenver BSE comes it's usually good. But there are too damn many promotions that basicaclly every match has been done. I'd love to get to a BCW, or a PWX show.
I miss me some UWA.

i mostly go to roh whenever it comes, but i don't know if i'd consider them indy much anymore. i've watched a few uwa and iws dvd's, and they've been pretty good. pretty much all i know, since i haven't really kept up with bcw recently.

PWA!! Honestly PWA is so awesome. We had Monster Pro but they probably went out of business... AGAIN. They are a joke. But PWA is like the pinnacle of Edmonton Wrestling. Maybe even wrestling in Alberta. I mean last show they had Homicide and AJ Styles and at the next show they are bringing in The Beautiful People, Al Snow, Bryan Danielson and Mick Foley. All that to complement some outstanding local talent like M and Tiger Raj Singh as well as Chucky Blaze and Brandon Van Danielson though they are slightly less "local" to Edmonton if I remember correctly  |

I wish we would get what Edmonton or Calgary gets for local live wrestling but that's just a dream  |

Hey Lita's Lover... Moose Jaw has a promotion if you can eblieve that looks pretty tight called Golden Dragon Wrestling I think. It looks promising and I'm hearing they are selling out shows. I'm going to drive down and check it out next Friday.
