As far as the arena's concerned, its just an upcoming event. They probably see it as being no different to advertising a football game at another game featuring two different teams. Or a concert at another concert... But, this is wrestling - it's so much larger than that. Your exactly right. When I go to see Football 'soccer' here in the UK I dont go getting all worked up and angry when I see them advertising a different team or leagues product. Or at a music event. But because its WWE and TNA we are talking about its such a big deal- yeah right. I use to love the WWF/WWE but I also watched some WCW, and now I watch TNA weekly and I watch WWE. I want to enjoy all the wrestling I can see on TV, but IMO people here seem to think its cool to show your support for WWE by constantly talking down about TNA. I think people miss out on the actual fun of wrestling by limiting what they watch because its cool to only watch WWE and talk sh*t about TNA. Yea some weeks TNA don't put on a good show, but its the same with WWE. I don't understand how 'fans' of wrestling cant enjoy both WWE & TNA wrestlers. I also wonder how many people here who currently 'hate' TNA actually saw this weeks show, which was a great show.

Sure.... I just think that it's messed up. That's all. Please, grow up. I need to grow up? oh please. I'm just stating my opinion on something I feel is messed up. But of course, somebodies opinion causes fights.

TNA has so many problems and instead of working on them they pull this s**t. NOTE TO TNA: Make your show better and more people will watch! Plain and simple!!! Thursday's iMPACT was better than any televised show WWE has put on all year... Definitely not. I was bored and watched Impact and my gosh it was bad.

No worries if you don't like the show, but some people take it too far IMO by getting angry about it. These 'wrestling fans' seem to hate TNA because its the cool thing to do. Obviously there are people who have watched enough of the product to decide they dislike it, but it seems that many people hate on TNA because its cool.

Ya'll.... DO realize TNA probably had nothing to do with this and it was probably just the arena promoting an event coming up in their arena, right??

Probably because WWE is a step up from the other companies. Where TNA, it makes those superstars look weak, like they couldn't hang with the big league superstars. Not saying that's my opinion, but that's how it looks. As for my opinion on TNA, I used to watch it when it was just amazing. Every Wednesday, the PPV's. It was great. I don't remember one backstage segment that took more than 30 seconds. It was all wrestling. AJ was my absolute favorite, I just loved him. Then they began to transition to prime time and everything. Was it bad? No. 2005sh was great. But then they started going downhill. The one thing about TNA that was great was I had no idea who these guys were, they just wrestled. Then they started signing older guys who couldn't go like the other talent. They went to a more storyline segmented show and then finally, cut down on the wrestling. And then here we are today.

Regardless of who put out he flyers, TNA does a really damn shitty job of promoting themselves. I've never seen an advertisement for live shows, or Impact outside of SpikeTV.
As far as Impact being 'great' this week - it wasn't. I still saw some things that made me shake my head and think, 'wow.... really?' Cody Deaner and ODB are the first to come to mind.
Foley and Daniels were the only things they did right.

Thats ed up. Seriously. Reasons why I can't take TNA seriously. i actually think it was very smart. tna has not done a good enough job promoting in the past. if the arena was okay with it then i'm fine with it ethically. i disagree with some who said it won't help, and if people still think vince isn't worried about tna as competition then try to explain the timeslot for wwe superstars!

Why is Vince going to be mad, and what advertising for tna?
Everyone seems to forget smackdown is edit tv, including signs they prob will just blur the whole thing out.

Ya'll.... DO realize TNA probably had nothing to do with this and it was probably just the arena promoting an event coming up in their arena, right?? You mean this wasn't TNA totally disrespecting WWE and trying to invade them and Vince McMahon isn't going to have a heart attack and declare war? This is just normal business practise? Well, ... A lot of the morons who posted in this thread are going to be very disappointed then. They've decided that this is the Most Unprofessional Disrespectful Thing That's Ever Happened. If the board had a minimum IQ requirement, we wouldn't even have threads like this anymore.

Though it was never reported that TNA put the fliers up, it was also never reported that the arena put the fliers up. jumped the gun? Sure. happens all the time. I do apologize for that. But you have no right to call other people dumb because of their opinions.
