Originally I was not going to respond to this, but Deskjet asked me too. My trepedation comes from the fact that so many people have their head's up Tony's ass. Not saying everyone. But the fact that everything is always praise and there is a serious lack of negativity lends me to believe this.
But here is my review:
1. I hated the recap. It was too long. I know you want to try and get more and more people to get involved, but maybe just having an archive for previous shows would suffice. Besides, the recap seemed to be more nonsense than anything else.
2. The training segment was extremely cheesie. It bounced back and forth from kayfabe.
3. I did like the advertisement/promo for the new wrestler. Little things like that add a real feel to the show.
4. I dont like the Global Warning stable. The idea is cool. But I think its the roster more than anything. Like why would they all get together like they did? Seems to lack substance here. Maybe we will learn more.
5. The tag match was way too long. It bored me. The commentary helped, as it flowed nicely and Conway's one liner's are always good. However, I felt like you were trying too hard to come up with a MOTYC and it came off contrite instead.
6. Also it seems like there are too many stables or at least its starting to get there.
7. Lance Cade being HBK's partner made a lot of sense and still came off suprising. I liked it. The match was fairly well done. Not as good as the previous week's main event. But it was more than sufficient.
8. And Jericho's involvement was horrid. I didnt like it. I want more homegrown stars or guys that are low level guys in the E. All these superstars like HBK, Jericho, etc. give it more of an E feel. Someone stealing the belts has a lot of potential, however Jericho just seems to ruin it for me. Cuz now I see HBK, Jeter and Jericho in a 3 way. I want to see Jeter look more heelish with his stable. Cheat, steal, etc to win. There seems to be too many factors in the World Title scene right now.

I dunno lol we get a few people around here that have great lapses in thier shows. Then they have the nerve to get mad at us when we dont remember because he have lives to live 2) It did bounce back and fourth this is true, but so did tough enough right? We all thought the first 2 seasons of this show were dope. So we will just see where this goes. 3) I agree with your opinion on this 4) I dont like them either, they beat my ass! Acutally, they are good for what they are. A heel foreign stable. They came together because Dupree was disrespected by me... Jdash..which my guy in the fed is a play off me in real life. So, we probably went out and got people from all over the globe that felt they didnt get there fair shake ... Tony will explain it, unless I spoiled it already lol 5) I think he was trying to top our rematch yes, maybe a little to hard. But I did ask for Jdash's talents to be showcased so thats my fault 6) TM pride and Global warming... 2 stables... All the mave is a tag team not a stable...so unless iam missing something thats only 2...which is fine when you think about the E in 97 NOD those mexicans DX the Candians and the bikers.. 7) Bah I hated Lance Cade, but from a AWF stand point it makes sense. 8) I like Jericho and HBK, it gives it some star power, not to much just enough. I agree with Jeter needing to hold on to the title to put the home grown talent over a little more then guys from the E though... I respect the honesty in your reply to his show, so I thought I would give one my self

There seems to be too many factors in the World Title scene right now. Well, let me just start by restating what i said in the pm. I do appreciate the reply. And as always, and with anyone, I welcome all replies, good and bad. However, I honestly thought you coulda left out the pontification towards the repliers, some of which are fellow pic fedders. Seeing as how you're relatively new to the boards and don't really know alot of the guys on here that well, I thought it was a bit presumptious of you to make that kind of judgement. I will say this about the people who have replied and the board in general- They know how to constuctively criticize something if need be, and they're a good group of guys that have helped bring this board back from the abyss and made it into an open and enjoyable community. And I'm pretty darn proud to be apart of it. Perhaps they really do just enjoy the product? Either way, it's my goal to put on a show that's enjoyable to watch as it fits into what I envision my fed should be. Some people will like that, and some people will not, that's life, and I'm fine with that. I will always take criticism under advisement and work to make the product better and entertaning for everyone as best I can. Thanks again, to all the recent repliers . IT's greatly appreciated. ;D Sincerely, deskjet

Alright, I just got back from Texas and was FORCED to watch this.... I haven't read any of the other replies so if I repeat something sorry. Openning recap video was cool, some music would be a nice touch. Or if there was music I couldn't hear it. I got a good laugh out of Conway's new look. I think that you have a good broadcast team and the only person who could add more too it would be The Brain. But I've always been a Brain mark. Anyway, on with the show, nice HBK promo short, sweet and to the point. I was excited when I saw Mercury and then when Bison came out I let out a big groan. I'm not a big fan of Smith both inside the figure world and outside. And for it to just be a spear 1..2..3 was a little bit of a let down. I really liked the tag match, but could All the Mave be turning heel or just doing whatever to keep their titles? Hmmmm... interesting. Creme Brule AND D.H. Smith AND Kimo AND marayse? OH NOES! There goes the neighborhood. And am I the only one who's dream match is now Global Warming versus the Natural Disasters? Book it and BOOK IT NOW! Speaking of the tag Division I like the idea of the Crush Zone, it's a really good way of showing some quick moves and establishing characters. But Hawkins/Ryder have nothing over Massive Tats. I'm sorry but I think M.T will go far in UGW and if they don't I'll be a sad sad panda. Lance Cade was a bit of a dissappointment, but the main was really good. I thought the moonsault was dead on, and things where going HBK's way until that dastardly Jericho had to interject himself....DAMN YOU JERICHO... DAMN YOU! Over all a really solid show. I think Bison should have stayed a backstage segment for a bit before he started running through people and you could have just had a quick singles match. But again I don't really care for him. Other than that great show. Revolt X very soon you'll have a taste of the hood. When the Notorious E.V.A.N makes his debut. Until then though I really enjoy it and can't wait to see some of the stars it will produce (Other than myself of course.) Good show.

TBH, dont know the names, as I wasnt trying to start a flame war. I also dont want to know the names as again, dont want a flame war. You obviously know more about the history of UGW than I. All my reviews and ideas are based off the 2 shows and what Tony has told me. Glad to know who JDash is. I like the character and its cool to know its based off of you in real life. Those are the best characters. Yes, the E had a ton of stables at one time. I hated it. Also, they had more programming time to develop them. Considering UGW shows seem to be time paced at more like 45 mins, there isnt enough time to get more than 1 stable over. Also, both are heel stables. Maybe a heel and a face, but not 2 heels. I originally proposed to Tony that I wanted to start a stable and now I think thats a bad idea. There just isnt enough time. Tony has enough work to do and more stables would just cause him to be over worked or cause the fed to suffer. I dont like the star power idea. To me Jeter is the biggest star in UGW. And I love it. Tony effectively took a guy who showed massive potential in OVW and the E failed to ever capitalize on, sticking him in this awful gimmick of being a cheerleader. IF tony can effectively build Jeter into a mega star, why cant a billion dollar corp. like the E? Just keep in mind, you know the fed and pic fedding as a whole a lot more than I. I am known for never shying away from honesty and not making posts that just goes with masses just because. Originally I was not going to respond to this, but Deskjet asked me too. As a viewer, I get to decide whether or not I like it.

Like i said guys, I welcome all opinions and comments. Pardon me for being fatherly, but that's how I feel about the board. I've been here since 2001 so, as i've said before, these are my kids, lol., although i know they dont need me to stick up for them. Anyway, CM, no harm. I know how you are, lucky for you i try see the good in people , which for you is hard to find, just kiddin' ;D. and hey, dont hesitiate to leave a reply because it's not positive. I can handle it. At least people have an opinion on UGW, which is better than not having one at all. Ok, I've pushed down enough threads and made up enough. Jdash, you're gettin stripped of the title just becasue i can

whoooo... kkkk.. I think i did miss a lot.. First off the show, I enjoyed the training parts more han anything, if there's anything i really wanna see it's the new stars getiing on the ring. I love the Global Warning teaser, too early to say if im gonna like the stable though. There are some things Showstopper said that i definiteley agree on, and like DJ said, some words could have been left out. I don't see any reason why anyone oughta respond to the criticism other than DJ since is essentially producing the show. Personally, I also don't like the big stars coming in or cade or Jericho as the chosen wrestler. Thing with Deskjet is, he can make things interesting as it goes... Sometimes it feels like E because we still have the wrestler's persona in mind, when we look at a pic fed, we should look at an alternate reality... unless the fed states that it occurs like 5 years from now and following the real timeline.. But yeah, I love that this show is generating interest. I like the first show better though. More power to you Deskjet!! Peace out brothers. Let's just move on, ayt? See ya'll sometime this JUNE..

Still love your crowd-signs. ;D Rob this time with Grandmaster Sexays headgear? ;D But some day you will run out of clothes to use. Shawn doesn't want a partner? Bison Smith! Finally! Now he can legally pummel somebody in the ring instead of doing it backstage. This will be a bad debut for Joey Mercury. SPEAR!!! Woah, already over? Good but bad too. I would have liked to see more of Bison. Nice insight on the training of the youngsters. All the Mave still with their new shirts. DH Smith aiding Creme Brulee? Ah, so this is Global Warning? Looks interesting. Huh? Who is beholding the X-Division there? Lance Cade? Don't know his history in UGW, but appearently he's a main eventer here. Uh oh, trouble already rising within the team of HBK and Cade. Jericho?
Great show with lots of unexpected turns and twists.
