To follow up on a report we issued on Thursday, it now appears the strongest candidates for TNA's Bound For Glory PPV this October will either be in Norfolk, VA or Huntsville, AL.
According to strong sources that WrestleView.com has spoken with, the belief within TNA is that they can draw a bigger crowd in the southern market as opposed to Boston or Philadelphia right now (which was rumored earlier). A confirmation on the PPV is expected to be finalized in the next two weeks.
It should be noted that while TNA President Dixie Carter really wanted Bound For Glory to be held in Chicago, it simply didn't work out for a number of reasons according to sources.

Thats a bummer for the Chicago fans, but I might be able to go if it ends up being in Norfolk, which would be cool.

Obviously would've hurt ticket sales.

I don't see why they try to go to a bigger city for their biggest PPV of the year. Just because you're in a big city doesn't mean you need a big arena..

So now, TNA decides to run in some random hick ass town. Good move.

They act as if they have to get some 10,000 seat arena, even though they only fill it like a third of the way. They could've easily run the Aragon Ballroom or the Odeum. Or, if they really weren't able to do Chicago, they could've gone some place in the area, like the Rave in Milwaukee. All of the places I named have hosted (real) ECW shows in the past.

What do you mean "supposedly"? WWE is indeed running Chicago for No Mercy. I only said supposedly because WWE (to my knowledge) has yet to officially announce it. I know we're all 99.99% sure they're coming here, it's just not official yet.

Now, they are considering some place that 80% of the country has never heard of.
