Received this today from fellow WFer Peterschaar (thanks!).   It's a mock up / prototype of the CSDA1 Hulk Hogan. It has a "For Position Only" sticker on it at the back. I am not sure what that means, but I have heard it was used for display at the 2006 Toy Fair. Not sure. The series was supposed to come with the sound box. I am not sure, but it could be the only one ever made. The figure itself feels like it's made of resin (there is a hole in the bubble to test the sound box!) Cool thing is that the sound box actually works, pretty loudly. It plays Real American and several Hulk Hogan quotes about the 7 foot 5 Andre The Giant, The Warrior. And has sound bits from Gorilla Monsoon from the WM6 Hogan/Warrior match. I am very excited that I was able to get this one! May 2nd: Added a video for the soundbox. Excuse the poor quality as I made it with my old cell phone. The box has two buttons: play all and just play one. |

What a great, unique figure to own. It is a shame the boomboxes did not make it to mass production.

wow. congratulations stom. That is a pretty strange and rare piece. That sound box is such a strange accessory compared to all the others that jakks has given us. And the way that Hogan is squeezed into the corner really makes this display piece stick out.

I've seen that before. It would been cool if they came with the boom box. Sorta like reviving the BTN line. Very cool receiving.

Wow thats a damn fine piece to own, you get all the good stuff. At first the carding looked a little bootleg like but it obviously isnt, enjoy.

That is one incredible proto! I remember when the CSDA line was about to begin they mentioned something to do with speakers, too bad they didn't end up making them as those would have looked perfect for an arena setup. Enjoy your new exclusive!

The carding is rough, bit damaged and has some small tape on it. I have another mock-up (non-Jakks) and it the same. I assume these things are hurried together. |
