I never rated here or understood all the attention she got. Really she looked OK but did nothing at ringside & had very little presence or charisma. Compare her with someone else who was there at the same time like Sherri & really apart from being married to Macho I can't see why she was there.
However everyone in shoots/ books et6c talks very highly of her being a genuine & nice person so shame she went so early

yeah she is often admired in shoots etc.
Flair said that when he went down to Machos house in Florida to prepare for WM8 the atmosphere in the house was beyond hostile.......then Vince came up with the idea of Liz was with Flair first..........he said it was some of the most uncomfortable times he ever had.
plenty of folks say thats why Mach was stripped of the title after SS92-his head was just elswhere completely

Here was this raving lunatic (Savage, not Liz!) with frazzled hair, an overbearing personality and just a whirlwind of flamboyance and aggressiveness... and then there's Elizabeth at his side, saying and doing virtually nothing aside from being loyal to Savage, and looking gorgeous. I thought it was a nice balance to Savage's character.

Wow six years.
She was always an attractive woman. And there was just something about her that the people loved. She didn't have to say much if anything and she didn't get involved much but people loved her.
She played a key role in some of Savage's feuds like with Flair of course and the whole Mega Power Split thing. She just always added something different just by being there or being caught with Savage's madness.
I miss her.

The other thing is that even when Savage was a heel, she was always a babyface. It was pretty unique for a major heel to have a manager/valet that the fans had real sympathy for.

Now that I think of it you're right. And to think that she basically stuck with him through all of that crap he put her through. I don't think Savage would have allowed her to leave his side anyway lol. But still, I can't really imagine something like that happening again. It really created some heat for Savage especially in the early days the way he treated her and all. But it made her seem more like a "real woman" sticking by her man through the good and the bad. Nowadays a face would really step in and there would be a feud over her or something.

There will never be a diva with as much class as Elizabeth. Exactly. Elizabeth was on a different scale then any other woman in wrestling. No she wasnt the hottest, no she didnt wrestle the best and no she didnt have the biggest boobs, but as much as i would love to bone the hell out of Divas like Trish, Sunny, and Kelly.....Miss Elizabeth was that girl that you could take home to mom and when you dropped her off after going out, you knew she wasnt sleeping with someone else. Savage never deserved to be with her honestly.

The reports I've read of Luger's recovering state when Elizabeth has been mentioned reveal just how much he misses her. She pre-dated 'Divas', and was the quintessential 'valet' in pro wrestling, who just exuded class and beauty in every sense of the word. Can't believe it; six years on...

Elizabeth was one who didn't have to talk much to express her emotions, you could see them in her face.

I thought she was the classiest lady in wrestling ever. I feel like her heel turn in WCW kind of ruined her character for me. Its a shame she went out the way she did.
