For those of you who are or have been wondering, Hernandez underwent surgery earlier today for a legitimate neck injury and will be out approximately 6-9 months.

According to a report at RiverCityWrestling.net, Hernandez' surgery was indeed a success! He's still expected to be out for 6-9 months.

In an update on LAX member Hernandez, one TNA source believed he would only be out of action 2 to 3 months, as opposed to the originally believed 6 to 9 months.

I thought he used his briefcase in a match against Sting that ended in a DQ a few months back?
Anyway, sucks for him. I've been calling for an LAX break-up because I feel like both can be successful on their own.
I'm sure TNA will be all over a Homicide-Suicide feud now.

He did cash in on Sting but MEM got involved and Foley gave Hernandez the case back

When Hernandez returns, he should team with Shane Sewell, like Balls Mahoney and Little Spike Dudley.
Imagine Hernandez Border Tossing Sewell off of the top rope onto their opponent, giving them the win?

Sucks that he's injuried but maybe they'll give Homicide a singles push since he does still have his Feast or Fired X Division case.
