LKS, delighted to see the reply.

There a kajillion hand motion vids out there. Have the people here just hide there hands at the top of pics and don't even use string. It's a video 'cause it has sound, plus is made in a movie maker. Videos can be animations but making them in MovieMaker's pretty borderline. AVI's and GIF's are animations. People did have moviemaker, but people only used it to make compilations of animations.

In saying quality is better than quantity, I meant that one good animation is better than a ****ty fed video.

Feds may have more overall effort put into their moves but if you were to compare a move like say an atomic drop made in a fed video and made as a single animation, the single animation would obviously be better. The better animators like Steve-o, LKS, Rob, and Jed don't do this but most of the other guys take a lot of shortcuts. Feds aren't necessarily better than single animations. I tried to make a whole match animation back in the day, it was horrible. Shortcuts are hard to avoid. A common theme in most feds is seen having figure parts cut out of the pictures so that the hand holding them is not seen whereas in a single animation, since your not doing nearly as much work, your able to use strings and such.

The amount of time is a problem with feds because what happens when you get bored, say when your in the middle of a match? What if you feel like scrapping it? Then your between a rock and a hard place if you know what I mean.
