...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! New York, NY 07/02/10 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 6,542
Welcome back to my hometown, good old New York City! Hello all fans joining us, I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the National Wrestling League brings you more great action. We kick off the month of July in New York and the Crush are looking to get on track tonight in their hometown! Let's see what they can do!
vs. Match #1; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 18:41 of action, in an excellent way to begin the evening here in New York, it was LyNN who scored another victory, his fifth of the season, after he nailed Williams with a Springboard DDT! Jason Williams looked really good yet again, but he fell short to the red hot LyNN. The crowd really enjoyed the action in this one and it was a perfect opener to warm up the crowd!
vs. Match #2; Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Marcus Jones [Boston Brawlers] - After 13:04 of action, the captain of the Evolution, Kevin Shamrock, scored a victory for his team in this match, after he drilled Jones with a Famine Driver. This wasn't the best match and I think this one brought the crowd's mood down. Jones looked very sloppy in this match and Shamrock didn't look at his best in this one. Shamrock seemed to be pressing in this match and it really didn't pa off too well!
vs. Match #3; Tyler Black [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Devin Curtis [New York Crush] - After 20:50 of action, the St. Louis native, Devin Curtis, was able to give the New York fans something to cheer about after he scored a victory over Black following a 450 Splash. These two meshed well together in the ring and the action just flowed. Crowd really seemed to enjoy the match but not just because Curtis got the win for the Crush. Black seemed very disappointed with this outcome and walked to the back pretty steamed.

- It was announced that the NWL Roundup will be making a return to NWL.com following this show! Be prepared for some major updates!
vs. vs. Match #4; Zeke [Chicago Warriors] vs. Sean Shafer [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 23:45 of action, in a pretty weak triple threat match to come back from intermission with, Zeke was able to score a MAJOR upset over these other two big players here in the NWL after he nailed Hammers with the Zeke Driver. These three really didn't connect during the match and there was basically no chemistry at all during this one. The crowd seemed restless and just wanted this one to finish.
vs. vs. Match #5; Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 23:46 of action, in a triple threat of captains to finish off the evening in New York, Red Dragon scored a big victory for the Most Wanted here, after he planted Corino into the mat with the Red Dragon Driver. This match was definitely the best of the night since these guys know how to really work with each other. Bockwinkel just fell short of getting the win in New York, but Dragon stole it right from him. Interesting and fun way to end the evening here in New York!
- We return to my hometown on the 23rd of July and see you great fans next 2 days from now in Chicago!

Sorry for not replying for a while. Ace wasn't on the last card, but awesome that Red Dragon got a win. Cool to see Pagano and Bennett teaming together on here. Maybe you could do a tag tournament of some kind this season.

NWL.com SECOND SEASON: ENGAGE - Thus far, the second season here in the National Wrestling League has been a success financially and product wise. Fans keep coming out to the shows and the NWL couldn't be stronger financially. The word from inside the NWL is that they feel that the product could be a little tighter worked, but has been going smoothly.
BEST OF THE BEST NEWS - Its about that time of the year were we start talking about where this year's Best of the Best will be held. Many places have been tossed around, but it looks like another foreign country will be taking the reigns.
INJURY REPORT - Nothing to report from this front; everyone seems to be pretty healthy.
MINOR LEAGUE REPORT Boston Brawlers: Grizzly Bear: Grizzly is living up to what he was said to be done here. Nothing REALLY too special, but could be seeing action later in the year. Grade: C+ X Matt: Matt, like his brother Jack, has been really dazzling the folks in the minor league system. I really wouldn't be surprised to see him called up first here in Boston. Grade: B+ Cody Rejero: Cody doesn't seem like he is panning out like many thought. Very disappointing beginning from Rejero thus far. Grade: C- Chicago Warriors Blaze: The big man seems to be moving well and with the motions down here. Don't expect to seem him this year though. Grade: B- Daniel Idol: Another guy who I think belongs down here for the whole year. Not liking what I've seen so far. Grade: C- Las Vegas Blitz Derrick Jones: One of the guys who has been really impressive down here and could see some action soon. Not a great worker, but pretty decent. Grade: B Sam Kineval: Hmmm, I'm not sure on what to think with this guy. One day, he is amazing and the best we got down here. Then, on another day, he really falls from grace and under-performs. Grade: C+ Daniel Sinn: Another guy who is going with the motions down here. Very solid; maybe sleeper for this year. Grade: B Chris West: This guy may be looking at some major league time this year. VERY consistent in how he works and the boys upstairs like that. Grade: B+ Los Angeles Most Wanted Silas McGahey: This guy looked good the first week of training, but has slipped a little since. Wonder what is to come from him. Grade: B- Jack Richardson: Working very stiffly as of late; very out of character and doesn't really get along well down here. Grade: C Richie Stevens: Richie is really trying down here, but he may be trying a bit too hard. He is really reaching and has to calm down. Grade: C New York Crush Donnie East: Best guy down here for New York hands down. Works very well with whoever he is facing and hopefully can see some time this year. Grade: B+ Keeley Matthews/Kaci Montgomery: Haven't seen any action...Grade: N/A Yuko Nagashiki: Definitely way too stiff and may have been a mistake to sign for New York. NEEDS WORK! Grade: D Tallarico Umasaki: Another solid guy working pretty well with everything down here. A tad stiff, but he will loosen. Grade: B Jin Yamato: Probably the best worker here in the minors. Should be called up shortly; no more training needed! Grade: A Tri-State Evolution Cyber Dragon/D-Jack/Connor O'Reily/Stan Shafer/Bret Thomas: Haven't seen much to rave about from these guys. Seem to be blending into one person. Grade: C+ Petey Williams: Cannot adjust down here; wants to get into the action in the majors; definitely ready. Grade: B+
TOP 10: T-1. Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] T-1. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] T-3. X Jack [Boston Brawlers] T-3. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] T-3. Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] T-3. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] T-3. Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] T-8. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] T-8. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] T-8. Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted]

I love seeing my name up in the Top 10! I was happy to see Kevin Shamrock win a match for Tri-State and I was shocked to see myself matchless.

Nice to see Silas and Donnie doing good in the minors, will be cool if either of them get called up. This is the first week Ace isn't in the top spot for the top 10, so hopefully that changes.

Damn at LA's Minors sucking, all the guys I wanted are getting good grades (apart from West and East who I am suprised at) I like that Jin is doing well but he's gonna be some competition, you say East is the best in NY then Jin as the best in the minors?, lets hope the LA boys start to step it up, good luck and keep this up

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Chicago, IL 07/04/10 - 1:00 PM Attendance: 6,102
Welcome back to the windy city everyone! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and we are live here from the beautiful city of Chicago. On this faithful afternoon, the Warriors look to get the season going on the correct track and they will have a few chances to show their home crowd just what they are made of this year. Let's get right down to the action at ringside now!
vs. Match #1; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 23:41 of action, in a very interesting and well fought opener for the afternoon, Ace Bennett looked back into old form here and really kicked it in high gear to get the victory following the Syracuse Drop. King found himself having the advantage for most of the match, but Ace used his resilience and just wouldn't go down. Ace eventually finished him off for his fifth win of the season!
vs. Match #2; Drew Parkland [New York Crush] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 09:52 of action, the woes continued for New York's Drew Parkland, as he lost yet another match, this time to Kevin Shamrock, following the Famine Driver and pinfall. Parkland is REALLY struggling to find his groove in the NWL and Shamrock made real easy work of him today. Shamrock, on the other hand, has looked much quicker and overall better this year thus far and it looks like it could be a promising year for him.
vs. Match #3; Brian Thompson & Zeke [Chicago Warriors] vs. Marcus Jones & Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] - After 17:03 of action, the crowd realized that this wasn't the best way to start the night for their team, as Chicago fell to a Cam Slam from Cameron Stone to Zeke. This match wasn't as much as a mismatch as it was just a great showing from Cameron Stone. Even though he got the big upset two days ago, Zeke came out real flat tonight and both Warrior members looked awful in what was a less than stellar first half main event.

- An ad for the NWL Roundup on NWL.com aired. Be sure to check out the brand new Minor League report section!
- Be on the look out for random NWL signing events coming to a city near you!
vs. Match #4; Devin Curtis [New York Crush] vs. X Jack [Boston Brawlers] - After 18:43 of action, in a real even and solid match to reopen the action in windy Chicago, Devin Curtis made his presence felt tonight after he got the victory over X Jack with the 450 Splash. Jack didn't look bad in this match, he just didn't look AS GOOD as Curtis, who was splendid in this one. The crowd loves seeing a fast pace match and these two really delivered on that end.
vs. Match #5; Matt Justice & Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon & Tyler Black [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 21:41 of action, some solid tag action followed a good reopener here and it was the Evolution walking away with their second win of the evening, after Matt Justice DRILLED, and I mean, DRILLED Demon with a Double Underhook Powerbomb. There seemed to be a little more behind that powerbomb and Justice just looked down right mean in this one. The Blitz really lacked teamwork in the match and it led to their downfall.
vs. Match #6; Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 25:55 of action, in a better match than expected from these two combatants, Evan Pagano continued his undefeated streak here after he nailed The Calling on the Chicago captain. The fans really didn't like this match at all and they started throwing stuff into the ring after the event ended. Pagano just seems pretty unstoppable this season and it looks like the Most Wanted have gotten their groove back.
- We return to Chicago, hopefully when they are in a better mood, 23 days from now and we rejoin fans next in Boston, on the 8th of June!

Two great wins for LA this show, so glad Pagano is doing well, shame about Parkland, tag match seemed lackluster, X Jack is doing well, damn Curtis doing well after moving to another team, DRILLED! Justice going back on track? Glad that Pagano won love the fans mini riot at the end, Pagano should have just gone heel, good luck and keep this up

2-0 for the night, sounds good to me! I love that I drilled and I mean DRILLED Demon with a Double Underhook Powerbomb for the victory. I always love that I am pushed well. I was really pulling for Evan Pagano to finally lose, but it will happen eventually.

Devin Curtis picking up the win for New York is awesome! Hopefully he can get a few more wins and possibly get into the top ten. Parkland has been struggling, kinda surprised he's not in the minors yet. Sad to see Richardson isn't improving much in the minors, hopefully he turns things around. Keep this going, duaner, the second season has been great so far!

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Boston, MA 07/08/10 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 5,040
We are live in the heart of Massachusetts, Boston, on a very warm evening! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the National Wrestling League is proud to present another edition of NWL Live! The currently second place Boston Brawlers look to improve on their record in their hometown and Steve Corino looks to lead them to 2 victories now! Let's go down to ringside for action!
vs. Match #1; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Sean Shafer [Tri-State Evolution] - After 23:48 of action, in an opener that tore the roof off the house in Boston, LyNN emerged victorious for the 6th time this season, as he continued his undefeated streak of dominance by nailing Shafer with a Springboard Tornado DDT. These two styles mixed very well in this match and it made for some good wrestling. The crowd certainly enjoyed it as it provided them with the proper way to get the night started!
vs. Match #2; Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 15:52 of action, Jason Williams was able to take a win home for the Most Wanted in this one, as he got the pinfall after a Psycho Driver on the now depleted Chris Hammers. Geez, what has happened to the once great Chris Hammers? He seemed extremely sluggish in the ring and he let Williams handle him fairly easy. One can only wonder if Hammers is still having trouble within his own group.
vs. Match #3; Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 25:55 of action, in an early match of the year candidate, these two guys really took each other to the limit and Cameron Stone was able to step up the winner of the match after he reversed a German suplex into a Cam Slam. The crowd went into a frenzy after they saw Stone get the win and they, as well as Kevin Hart, were very surprised. Well, these two really put on a barn-burner and the crowd was really pumped up going into the intermission!

vs. vs. Match #4; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 23:46 of action, these three captains did battle in a triple threat match here, but the winner of the bout turned out to be Mike Bockwinkel, who hasn't wrestled for awhile, after he gave Kevin Shamrock the Bockwinkel Special. This match was a slower pace with more ground action, but it was still pretty fantastic. Everyone in the match looked up to standards and it proved to be a pretty good match.
vs. vs. Match #5; Steve Corino & X-Jack [Boston Brawlers] vs. Assassin & Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Red Dragon & Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 29:54 of action, in a main event just 6 seconds short of a draw, it was the Los Angeles duo that took home the victory after Red Dragon drilled Brian Thompson with the Red Dragon Driver for the victory. This match was all over the place with action and the crowd was into it every second of the way. These guys really wrestled a great main event and this triple threat tag match provided some excitement. Good way to end the evening definitely!
- We return to the beantown in exactly a month, August 8th and see you fans next tomorrow in Los Angeles!

Wow LA has been on a roll as of late, going undefeated on the past few shows. Good to see Williams being more than a jobber like he used to be. Keep it up man.
